April joined the business in 2009 on a work placement and this is where she found her true calling in life. She quickly worked her way up through the ranks, finally taking over the business in 2019. She has since graduated with her masters in floristry gaining the highest qualification in her industry. As the owner April wears many hats, you can often find her in the shop, setting up at events, creating the weird and wonderful as well as admin but no matter what the job she is always willing to get stuck into anything that comes her way and loves to take on a challenge. As our wedding coordinator she loves helping our couples bring their dream day to life with her knowledge and creative ideas on all things floral. April always strives to put a personal touch of everything she does be it weddings or funerals and nothing is too much trouble. April is happiest when creating the unusual and figuring out the logistics, but the best part of her job is to see her team thrive and grow, as they are the foundations of this amazing business.
Dawn became part of the team in 2021 after being made redundant during the lockdown. She has always had a passion for floristry and has finally been able to pursue her dream career whilst working along slide her daughter April. She instantly fit into the team and has truly taken on the role of mother, looking after us all and keeping our workspaces neat and tidy. Her day-to-day tasks include taking orders, creating beautiful bouquets, and completing her on-the-job training. Dawn is happiest when being creative, she loves to think outside the box and is always coming up with new ideas and design concepts.
Mr Jim started coming to work during lockdown to keep April company and has worked every day since, he has won the hearts of the team and many customers who often bring him tasty treats. He loves the attention and getting lots of cuddles throughout the day. Jimmy likes to join April in her many wedding consultations as he loves to curl up by your feet in front of the heater. You will often find Jimmy napping on the job but will always make an effort to say hello.
