Berry-Middleton Ltd was formed in 1997. Based in West Sussex at the heart of the South Downs, we are a small company that specialises in traditional flintwork of all styles, as well as being proficient in many other aspects of restoration work... Originally formed as a partnership, Berry-Middleton Ltd is now owned and run solely by Mark Middleton with the assistance of 3 full-time members of staff, Phil, Gregg and Xavier. The Company takes pride in maintaining the very best traditions, from hand picking and knapping flints in the ‘old fashioned' way, restoring buildings and features which have stood for centuries, to creating new flint structures which appear to have age and character. We are experts in our field... Using traditional materials and techniques we undertake a wide variety of projects. We specialise in flintwork, but are also fully competent in many other building practices. These include roofing (slating and tiling), brickwork, stonework and hard landscaping.
