ARGOSY PLAYERS

We are dedicated to promoting the development of dramatic art in the London Borough of Hillingdon on a non-profit making basis... Over the years the Argosy Players have become recognised as one of the London Borough of Hillingdon's foremost Amateur Theatre Companies. The group has successfully presented numerous productions to audiences throughout local the area... Argosy Players were formed in 1947, when members of the Bishopshalt School Drama Society decided to set sail and go it alone just like Jason and his Argonauts, hence the name. Since its formation Argosy's aim has been to give local people the opportunity to learn and develop their theatrical skills.
