Bryngwyn School is situated between the villages of Dafen and Felinfoel, some two miles from the centre of Llanelli. It is one of five Comprehensive Schools in the Llanelli Area. At present the School population consists of over 800 pupils drawn from the feeder Schools of Hendy, Llangennech, Bryn, Brynteg, Dafen, Ysgol y Felin, Swiss Valley, Five Roads, Old Road, Furnace and Penygaer. However a number of pupils are drawn from Schools outside our catchment area, with as many as sixteen primary schools sending to Bryngwyn.
