Reading is the key that unlocks the whole curriculum so the ability to efficiently decode is essential. At Castle Hill Primary School, we use the Read Write Inc. synthetic phonics programme to teach our children the core skills of segmenting and blending and to start them on their reading journey... teach Read Write Inc. systematically and provide high quality learning experiences. We want to enable our children to become confident, skilled and fluent readers and enable them to use reading to learn across the curriculum and enjoy reading for life... We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
