Teaching at Ladywood is very effective as teachers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants and all the support staff form a competent and professional team that I am extremely proud of. Tasks for children are planned systematically using prior assessment to meet our pupils' needs. All lessons are lively and engaging. We are an inclusive school... At Ladywood we are a team akin to a large extended family in which we value the contributions of all the school community. We support each other and celebrate our successes together... Our school grounds are extensive and include a variety of areas such as; grass, playgrounds, trim trails, a multi use games arena, shaded seating, tyre park and a forest area. The Early Years Foundation Unit has a separate fenced outdoor play area. As a school we believe the outdoor environment is an outdoor classroom. We try to provide the children with hands on experiences whenever we can and we enjoy taking the children on educational visits and to take part in..
