At Mellor we provide remote education for all children should they be unable to enter the school premises because they are required to self-isolate. As a local authority maintained school, we follow the National Curriculum as set out by the Department of Education. Children in the EYFS, Year 1 and 2, take part in daily phonics sessions following a Systematic Synthetic Phonics Programme by ALS (Ann Louise Smalberger Letters and Sounds). Children start Phase 2 phonics two weeks..
