At Micklem, we put the whole-child at the centre of everything we do, and have High Hopes of supporting and developing the next generation to be world-changers. We believe that every child has the right to find something that they can be successful at, and so have an emphasis on giving all children opportunities to discover new sports, play musical instruments, cook delicious treats and much much more. Reading is a priority in our school, and our new library is brimming with exhilarating reads to engage readers of all ages, with different interests... I am so excited for what the future holds for this school and its families. We have a committed and driven staff team who are eager to build relationships and make a difference. Our staff are determined to provide all children with an engaging and inspiring curriculum that encourages learning at all levels. We look to build opportunities to learn outside wherever possible and feel that we foster an environment where learning is engaging..
