MOUNT PLEASANT RDA

Mount Pleasant RDA Group is a registered sub group of RDA National and a charity in its own right, established in September 2008. We are based at Mount Pleasant Stables, Rhiwceiliog, Pencoed, Mid Glamorgan where we run three sessions every Saturday morning. We cater for children up to the age of 14 with a variety of disabilities providing not just the physical therapy of horse riding but a relaxed environment to learn about the horses and ponies they ride each week including stable management - all whilst having fun!... Our network of 500 volunteer groups organise activities for up to 28,000 people each year. We have been carrying out our life-changing activities for over 40 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of our instructors and volunteers (18,000 in all). We offer activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability - and you're just as likely to find an RDA Group in an urban setting as a rural one.
