Bruach Mhor, Fionnphort, Isle of Mull PA66 6BL
Working with produce that is seasonal, and either grown on the croft itself, or on neighbouring farms on Mull and Iona, is very important to us. Besides the daily catch of lobster & crab, Carla enjoys the challenge of using everything John catches in his creels, which can include sea-urchin, codling, rass, conger eel and occasionally octopus. Our hand-dived scallops come from our next-door neighbour, Jane the Diver who provides us with some of the best scallops there are. The abundant waters around Mull, and the profusion of local quality meat and cheese producers have helped our restaurant receive recognition from the Michelin Guide, Scottish Good Food Guide, Highlands & Islands Food Awards, Scottish Thistle Awards and Taste of Scotland Awards. We are delighted to be on our way to becoming one of Scotland's destination restaurants, and were listed as one out of 3 Top Seafood Bistros in the UK by the Telegraph. Ninth Wave Restaurant is also very near to the ferry to the Isle of Iona..
