OPEN SPACE THEATRE - Key Persons
Cathy Gill associate director, has worked in theatres all over the UK, both as an actress and as a director. Since moving to East Anglia she has directed Not About Heroes and Love Letters for her own company, Classic Theatre, and two new plays for Woven Theatre Company, Missing and Trojan Whores. She has appeared in Another Three Sisters with Eastern Angles and has directed several large productions for the Fisher Theatre Youth Group and for Harleston Players. For Open Space, Cathy has appeared in Ghosts and The Glass Menagerie, and is greatly looking forward to the company's future productions, including Cabaret.
David Green, artistic director, has an MA in theatre direction from the University of East Anglia and spent two years with the RoughCast Theatre Company before forming Open Space in 2008. His directing credits include: A Streetcar Named Desire and The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, All My Sons and Broken Glass by Arthur Miller, Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, Saved by Edward Bond, Medea by Euripides, What The Butler Saw, by Joe Orton, Marat/Sade by Peter Weiss and Shadowlands by William Nicholson.
Rachel Kellett, production adviser, studied drama as a young woman before working as an art restorer and for a cancer research charity. She helped set up a branch of Greenpeace in Delhi and was co-author of "Life in Plastic - the environmental impact of plastic in India". She is also the author of: Bird of Passage, a biography of a 90-year-old yogi she met in a Buddhist retreat and whose life was an odyssey through the last century. Rachel worked for five years as a teacher in India.She joined RoughCast Theatre Company to produce Broken Glass, by Arthur Miller and took a similar role in the company's production of King Lear. A great traveller, she brings ideas and a global perspective to Open Space.

YVES GREEN is an associate director of Open Space Theatre Company. She worked on Shakespearian productions with the Outside Seating Company and was a founder member of RoughCast Theatre Company. She has run drama workshops for children and adults for many years.
