Oolong is often heavily linked with weight-loss. The Chinese have believed that oolong tea has helped with weight-loss for centuries. The current weight-loss claims around this tea centres on the polyphenol content of oolong tea which is higher than in those of other teas. The truth is though that while drinking oolong tea may help you lose weight it is unlikely to help you lose any more weight than drinking green or white tea.
