The society is the only history society affiliated to the Open University Students Association that is run by students, past and present, for the benefit of current students. We publish our own quarterly journal written by members, organise visits and activities all over the UK, and have an AGM weekend with member speakers and a visit to a local place of interest. Members are encouraged to carry out their own historical research and share the results with members... We provide a real opportunity to publish your own work in our prestigeous magazine. Why not share the results of all your hours of work constructing a TMA with fellow amateur historians? The magazine is packed with interest for history buffs including a wealth of local history resources from across the UK and some excellent book reviews.
