The westie as a pet, they make ideal family pets, they have tremendous courage and are forever faithful, also a lover of human company. Although not a lap dog they are very loving and can be very obstinate at times and need to be shown who is boss... This breed is a terrier it is always willing to stand its corner, they have an abundance of energy and are very strong little dogs... We are a small home kennel on the west coast of Scotland in a little village called Muirkirk.
