Between 1991 and 1996, I worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Computer Aided Process Engineering Laboratory of Ecole Centrale Paris, and in parallel I obtained a PhD in the area of biofuels. Immediately after this position I moved into Cambridge (UK) to work as a senior staff engineer until April 2003 for Aspen Technology, a world-wide leading supplier of engineering software and services to the process industries. While at Aspen Technology I have been involved in proposing technology, software and business directions in the area of Modelling & Simulation. I was responsible for the development and introduction into practice of innovative new online dynamic simulation technology with a proven impact in the efficiency of industrial plant operations. I also developed a variety of process models and performed engineering studies for plant analysis, operations support, process optimisation, control and operator training... I have more than 10 years experience in process..
