At The Catholic School of St Gregory the Great, the role of a Chaplaincy Team member is varied, with set events in our school calendar relying on their participation, such as, our termly Values for Life vote to decide what our focus value will be each term, our termly Leaders in Faith sessions in EYFS and Key Stage 1 and leading Masses and Liturgical Prayer services for the whole school... Our school Chaplaincy Team is made up of children from Key Stage Two (Years 3 to 6). We currently have 30 members. All children in Key Stage Two have the opportunity to join the Chaplaincy Team, submitting a written letter of application to the Chaplaincy Lead, explaining why they think their gifts and talents make them an ideal candidate for chaplaincy. We are blessed to have many, many applications, with children showing amazing enthusiasm for ways they can continuing God's work in our school...
