We are a small first school based in Dorchester. We are part of Plymouth Cast and the Dorchester Area Schools Partnership... At St Mary's we aim to encourage each child to be the best they can be - academically, personally, emotionally and socially. Along with high academic standards, music and sport has always been an integral and important part of life at St Mary's. A wide variety of instrumental tuition is open to the children. A range of sporting activities, clubs and teams are provided and nurtured... With the support of home and the parish, we encourage our pupils to become confident, independent, responsible citizens. We help them to make informed choices and decisions which should continue throughout their lives.
