My journey into holistic therapies started in 2002 when I was trying to conceive a baby, after lots of tests the doctors informed me there was nothing wrong with me and that I was stressed? I couldn't believe it, stress was actually stopping my body from working properly. I decided that I had to do something about it... Before starting on my IVF treatment someone suggested that I should look into different methods of relaxation and initially it was recommended that I had a course of Reflexology. I absolutely loved it and after one session I felt more relaxed and less stressed. Then I tried Indian Head Massage, Swedish Massage, then Hot Stone Massage, Ayurvedic Therapies and Meditation. I loved them all and decided I would retrain in Holistic Therapies and help other people who were suffering with stress related illnesses.
