We wish to clarify with our patients that despite what you may have read in the press about GP appointment targets, there have been no changes to the GP contract. GPs in England are delivering over a million appointments a day with the lowest number of GPs we have ever recorded, we continue to struggle to deliver the care we know our patients need. We are doing everything we possibly can to see those patients with the most need urgently. We will continue to see our patients as normal, with NHS data showing almost 50% of patients are seen on the day..
