Anthony is a creative Architect with over 10 years experience across a variety of sectors including education, residential and historic building restoration projects. Anthony joined CAA in 2019, bringing design flair from conceptual stages of a project, through to on-site delivery. Anthony studied architecture at University of Plymouth, where he was awarded the RIBA Silver Medal Nomination in 2011, for best design work.
Chris Studied Architecture at the SSSA in Aberdeen and, since relocating to the south east, has worked within a variety of sectors including high end residential, luxury retail and small scale residential projects in Brighton and in London.
With over 30 years' experience across many property sectors, Richard has worked with several internationally-renowned practices, designing and managing prestigious award-winning buildings. Joining CAA in 2013, Richard has a PhD in design management for sustainability, two higher and two further qualifications.
Gary has been involved in the practice of architecture for over 30 years, and has vast experience of all types of projects and practice management. The knowledge accumulated over many years enables him to provide leadership on schemes of varying type, size and complexity, while integrating the input of others involved in the design and construction process. Although recently retired, Gary remains a consultant at the practice.
Jay is primarily involved with the design of both new build and refurbishment work on a variety of building types with a strong focus on residential, bringing design flair with a practical base that allows ease of project delivery through the detailed design and site stages where he also has complementary skills. Jay also leads the practices IT strategy.
Julie has over 30 years experience working in administration at architectural practices and oversees the management of admin and accounts at our practice.
Mike founded Crowther Associates Architects in 2003 after retiring as a director of CDA following their acquisition of the APP Partnership in 2000. Now a consultant for the company, Mike continues to have an input in to the practice and has a particular expertise in early stage planning, design and strategy to enable quick and effective project evaluation.
Richard has nearly 35 years experience as an Architectural Technician and leads projects through all architectural work stages, his extensive technical knowledge and on-site experience ensures excellent quality of designs and delivery of projects. During employment for various national practices he has delivered a wide spectrum of building projects including Healthcare, Hotels, Residential, large leisure and retail projects.

Smita is an experienced and knowledgeable Architectural technologist who works closely with a team leader to deliver technically excellent projects. Involved from planning to completion she delivers 3D and early stage presentation work through to detailed, technical design. With an extensive knowledge of construction methods and using BIM, CAD or 3D software, she is experienced in realising designs.
