Anne has been the friendly front face of Chew Magna Dental Practice since 2001. She is an invaluable member of the practice, ensuring that each day runs smoothly for everybody. This is helped by her experienced dental background, gained by being a dental nurse for over 20 years. She helps create a friendly relaxed atmosphere from the moment our patients' first walk through the door. Away from the practice, Anne enjoys travelling and her beloved MX-5!

Diana studied her National Dental nurse certificate at Bristol Dental Hospital in October 2004 and then went on to study Dental Radiography at Keele University in 2006. Her favourite part of the job is helping others, seeing patients and working with a close team. Diana started at Chew Magna Dental Practice part time Aug 2018 and became a permanent member of our team in August 2019. Outside of work she loves to travel and spend time with her family.
Gemma qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the Bristol Dental Hospital in 2005. Originally from Devon, Gemma has been living in the local area for a number of years and joined the practice in April 2021.
Gemma is passionate about her work and has many years experience in treating a diverse range of patients in different practice environments. Her favourite part of the job is working with nervous patients and helping them to feel at ease.
Outside of work, Gemma enjoys running, being outdoors, yoga and cooking.
Hannah qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist at Birmingham University in 2011. Originally from the West Country, she decided to return to the area and joined the practice in July 2013. Hannah is passionate about helping her patients to understand the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth and the relationship this has with our general health.
Hannah loves music and theatre. She also enjoys travelling with her husband, Zumba and swimming.
Joanna is an extremely experienced dental nurse. She was trained and qualified at the Bristol Dental Hospital and has been with the practice for over 30 years. With this wealth of experience, she provides invaluable support to the dentists and dedicated care to our patients. Joanna is from the local area and will be a familiar friendly face to many of you. Outside of work, Joanna enjoys the outdoor life.

BDS Bristol 1992 GDC: 68219 Jo qualified as a dentist in 1992, after graduating from Bristol University. Jo joined our practice in 2018 as a locum. She ended up staying as she found our team and patients such a pleasure to work with. She has a great relationship with her patients as well as our team, helping them to manage their oral health. She particularly enjoys seeing the difference when anxious patients overcome their fears and benefit from their dental care. When outside the practice, Jo's three children keep her busy - her two boys play rugby for Chew Valley Rugby Club and her daughter shares Jo's passion for horse-riding. As a family, they all love walking - including their rescue springer spaniel.

BDS Bristol 1990 GDC: 65838 Jonathan qualified as a dentist in 1990 after graduating from Bristol University. He is experienced, forward-thinking and committed to providing high-quality dental care. Jonathan joined the practice in 2002 as an associate and took over the practice in 2005. As the practice principal, Jonathan ensures that Chew Magna has a caring team, providing first-class dental care in a relaxed environment. He enjoys looking after his patients and providing the latest cosmetic treatments.

Katherine has a degree in Business Studies, qualifying from Nottingham Trent University in 1999. Katherine has been helping with managing the business here since 2012. She enjoys working as a part of a committed team and loves working in such a friendly practice. Before joining our practice, Katherine worked for a number of different organisations as a client manager before starting in the dental industry in 2006.
Katherine lives locally and when at home her time is taken up with enjoying busy family life with four children. She also enjoys running, yoga and horse-riding in her spare time and has recently taken up open water swimming.
Louise began her time at Chew Magna Dental Practice as a cover receptionist and was given the opportunity to train as a dental nurse at the University of Bristol Dental Hospital. She qualified with her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in July 2013. Louise is committed to providing a high standard of care to our patients and finds her role very rewarding. Outside of work, Louise is passionate about film and theatre. She loves to spend time exploring Devon and Cornwall and is a keen surfer. In her spare time, Louise is often training with Avon & Somerset Search & Rescue.
Megan qualified from the University of Bristol in June 2019 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. She won an award at her graduation for her dissertation, exploring the benefits of xylitol in the prevention of dental disease.
Her favourite part of the job is working with nervous patients, helping them overcome their fears and realise that there is nothing to worry about seeing the dental hygienist. She joined the practice in August 2019 and has found it very welcoming. She feels like she's been part of Chew Magna Dental Practice for years.
Outside the practice, Megan loves enjoying the outdoors and is a very active person. She loves snowboarding in the French Alps and surfing in Cornwall. She loves to travel around Devon and Cornwall, exploring with her fiancé in their VW Campervan.
