Having grown up on a dairy and sheep farm in Derbyshire, Aaron graduated from Harper Adams University College in 2011 with a degree in rural property management.
Aaron worked at a national firm for 2 ½ years in North Yorkshire, primarily involved in estate management and property sales.
Following the move back to Derbyshire, Aaron joined Bagshaws in October 2013 based in the Bakewell office, where he primarily deals with property and land sales but also deals with tenancy matters, BPS applications and general rural property management.
Outside of work, Aaron is on the farm at home and participates in showing horses at local and national shows.

Alastair is Senior Partner & Managing Partner at Bakewell and is responsible for Livestock Sales at the Agricultural Business Centre Bakewell.
He has over 40 years experience as a livestock auctioneer in the Peak District.

Alice grew up on the family farm in Derbyshire and after graduating from Harper Adams University in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Enterprise & Land Management, she started her career in Leicestershire as a Graduate Surveyor. Alice qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer in 2017 before joining Bagshaws in January 2018.
Alice undertakes a wide range of rural professional work specialising in valuations, rural property management, compensation claims, landlord and tenant advice and basic payment scheme work.
Outside of work, Alice enjoys country pursuits, travelling and socialising with family and friends.

In her spare time, she is involved with Staffordshire young farmers and enjoys socialising with friends.

Charles was the previous owner of Bury & Hilton prior to him selling the business to Bagshaws and he is now on a 3 year consultancy, working out of the Leek office.
Charles is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) having qualified approx. 40 years ago. He carries out valuations on residential and commercial properties and deals with all aspects of estate agency.
Charles is also a Director at Bury & Hilton Auctions Limited, which is a separate firm who hold auction sales of general household furniture and also antique and collectable furniture and effects.

Having grown up on a mixed farm in north west Leicestershire, Christine obtained a degree in Rural Land Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester.
She started her career in Dorset where she qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1997.
She joined Bagshaws in 2000 and has always worked in the property agency and professional side of the business.  Having been in Uttoxeter for many years, Christine is now heading our newly incorporated Penkridge Office.
Her role involves a variety of work including property valuations for secured lending, tax or divorce purposes, property agency, property management, planning and development schemes and general professional work including Landlord and Tenant issues in particular in relation to agricultural tenancies.
Christine has also been involved in recent years in compensation claims regarding EHS applications and represents a number of her clients impacted by the HS2 proposals.

Craig carries out a range agricultural and rural planning applications predominately working in and around the Peak District National Park. With over 10 years experience in the sector, a strong knowledge of agricultural and rural business and a successful track record, Craig ensures the clients projects have the best chance of success through the planning system.
In addition, Craig also provides advice in relation to farm payment and environmental schemes.
Craig has a keen interest in sustainable agriculture systems, renewable energy and rural business development and also runs his own livestock farm and farm diversification business just outside of Ashbourne. A qualified Chartered Surveyor, Craig originally graduated from Harper Adams University College in July 2007 having gained a BSc (Hons) Rural Enterprise and Land Management.

Debbie joined Bury & Hilton over 20 years ago and is responsible for the administration/secretarial duties at the Leek office.
During her spare time, she loves taking long walks with her two dogs (and husband!) and spending time with her family and new grandson. She also enjoys holidays and exploring new places in her motorhome.
Diane has worked for South and Stubbs for over twenty years and completed a Masters in the Rural Environment and Land Management at Harper Adams University College in 2011.
Her duties include the preparation of property and land valuations, Grazing Licences, Farm Business Tenancies and Contract Farming Agreements. Diane also assists with property marketing and RPA work.
Away from the office Diane‚-s interests include showing and judging native ponies, narrow boating, poultry keeping and ‚Äòwalking‚- her Wire Fox Terrier!

Ed is a farmers son from North Staffordshire and gained a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams University College. Having previously worked in Cumbria and Derby, Ed joined Bagshaws in 2001, qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 2002 and a fellow of the CAAV in 2004.
He undertakes valuations for all purposes, deals with the sale of rural property and land and is available to advise on any land based issue.
