Aaron joined Buzzacott in August 2014 and is a Senior Manager in our Corporate and Business Services team.
He supports clients by guiding them through every step of the audit process. His clients include financial services, manufacturing, HR, tech and publishing companies. Aaron and the team carry out assurance services, including application of UK GAAP accounting standards, in particular FRS 102 and section 1A accounting.
Aaron has lots of experience working with groups of companies based in the UK and overseas, from smaller groups to those with up to £200m turnover. He therefore has extensive knowledge of the requirements involved at all stages of the audit process.
Aaron is ACA qualified and prior to joining Buzzacott he worked in the compliance team of a large hedge fund management firm.
Away from the office he enjoys pub quizzes and is a keen rugby fan, playing on Saturday afternoons.
Aaron joined Buzzacott in 2019 and is a Manager in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
Adam joined Buzzacott in 2019 and is a Senior Manager in our Corporate Tax team.
He holds a wide portfolio of clients including a growing number in the AI industry but specialises in collaborating with high growth companies that have received external investment in the Technology and Media space, leading Buzzacott's tax offering in the sector.
Adam thoroughly understands and incorporates himself into his clients' business, establishing client relationships built to last. This allows him to work collaboratively with other teams within Buzzacott including the Research and Development team to ensure his clients are receiving the best possible advice for them at that time. He guides clients through every stage of the business life cycle, from early-stage investment to corporate structuring, compliance, equity incentives for staff and eventually sale.
Adam is a Chartered Tax Advisor and, before joining Buzzacott, spent six years at HMRC, where he was a technical lead analysing tax planning structures including complex Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) cases. He works closely with our corporate finance and Private Client teams advising both founders and high net worth individuals on qualification for the schemes.
Away from his desk, he spends time watching American Football, keeping active and playing golf. He also enjoys travelling and trying new food.
Adam joined Buzzacott in 2014 and is a Senior Manager in our Corporate Business Services team.
He works with a range of corporate clients including tech, SMEs and start-ups. Typically, Adam's clients face challenges such as outdated accounting software and procedures. The team therefore manage the process of updating systems, transferring to the cloud and automating traditionally manual processes.
Adam's specialist knowledge is cloud accounting, supporting clients by reviewing processes and streamlining these by introducing new cloud software and apps. The team also provides bookkeeping services, management accounts, VAT and annual statutory accounts.
Adam works closely with other service lines within Buzzacott including audit, corporate tax, VAT, payroll and company secretarial.
He is ACCA qualified and previously worked for a small local accounting firm in Essex. In his spare time, Adam enjoys playing golf.
Adam joined Buzzacott in 2022 and is an Associate Director in our Corporate Assurance team
He is a UK Chartered Accountant and US Certified Public Accountant specialising in providing audit services to private companies reporting under both UK GAAP and IFRS.
Prior to joining Buzzacott, Adam worked at Grant Thornton and has over 25 years of experience working with large corporates and international groups. He supports clients across a number of sectors including real estate, professional and IT services, manufacturing, retail and hospitality. Having worked in the US and in transaction support, Adam also has experience in acquisition due diligence.
Outside of the office, Adam is a fan of film and travel.

Akin joined Buzzacott in 2001 and is Partner and Head of our Private Client team.
Akin and his team provide expert tax and probate advice to individuals, trusts and estates. Akin's focus is on wealth preservation from a tax perspective. He helps high-net-worth individuals and their families to protect their wealth throughout their lives through careful planning.
Akin advises on all aspects of tax planning and compliance reporting for those with complicated financial affairs, often in multiple jurisdictions. He specialises in assisting international private clients with tax advice when they're investing in or moving to/from the UK.
Akin and his team work collaboratively with our Financial Planning team to provide clients with an overarching picture of their financial affairs and a tax-efficient financial plan to help them achieve their goals.
Akin is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA). He was named in the eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list in 2021, 2023 and 2024, recognising and celebrating him as one of the most prominent movers and shakers within the UK and offshore private client practitioner sector.
Prior to Buzzacott, Akin worked in the Private Client team at a national practice.
Outside of work, Akin is a lay preacher and undertakes voluntary work as a mentor and counsellor for both young people and adults. He enjoys playing squash and watching football and is happily married with two adult children.

Akolade joined Buzzacott in 2015 and is a Senior Manager in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
Akolade is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Enrolled Agent (EA) and is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).

Alastair is one of the firm's business tax partners and works with each of the specialist teams to provide tax strategy and planning services to a broad range of domestic and international, commercial and not for profit organisations and their owners.
Alex joined Buzzacott in 2014 and is a Partner leading our Transaction Services team.
Alex joined Buzzacott in 2007 and is a Director in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
Alex works with clients who are American citizens and green card holders resident abroad as well as UK resident, non-UK domiciled individuals. This includes everyone from high-net-worth individuals to retirees and from employers to sole traders just starting their businesses.
For Americans residing abroad, or indeed any taxpayer, there are a myriad of potential pitfalls for the unwary and these can be in areas that should be straightforward. A huge part of Alex's role is to help his clients navigate these pitfalls and limit their exposure to unreasonable tax liabilities and unnecessary and onerous compliance burdens.
In particular, Alex can assist clients with US Federal and State income tax returns, foreign account and asset reporting, trust and wealth and estate planning and reporting, UK Income Tax returns and wealth and estate planning. He also works closely with Buzzacott's Corporate team, who handle the filing and advice obligations of the client's companies and businesses. This collaborative relationship helps to simplify his clients' lives as they can pass information on to one Buzzacott employee and be comfortable it will reach the relevant parties as required.
Internally, Alex is a member of Buzzacott's Technical Committee, where he is involved in the analysis of new legislation and the re-evaluation of older rules, looking for potential planning opportunities and highlighting where issues may be lurking in order to provide guidance to the team as needed
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys playing board games and travelling to different countries around the world as well as areas of the UK.
Alexander joined Buzzacott in 2019 and is a Manager in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
He helps high-net-worth American citizens in the UK and British citizens in the US with preparing both their US and UK tax filings as well as providing planning advice. In particular, this includes assisting with US Federal and State Income Tax returns, foreign account and asset reporting, trust and wealth and estate planning and reporting, UK Income Tax returns, and wealth and estate planning.
Navigating both the US and UK tax systems can be difficult. Alexander helps clients tackle these challenges by providing bespoke advice on how to organise their tax affairs and helping them with their tax compliance obligations. He specialises in tax residence and domicile, and US expatriation.
Working with our Private Client team, Alexander is able to advise on the US tax consequences of US citizen beneficiaries of UK trusts. He also works collaboratively with our Corporate Tax team to deal with the impact of US citizens with controlled foreign corporations.
Alexander is a dual qualified UK and US tax adviser. He is a Chartered UK Tax Advisor (CIOT) and a US Enrolled Agent (EA).
Outside of work, Alexander enjoys playing five-a-side football, fitness and socialising with friends.
Alison joined Buzzacott in 2012 and is a Director in the Charity and Not for Profit team.
Alison provides audit and advisory services to a wide range of charities and educational institutions, with a particular focus on membership organisations and sports sector entities, including NGBs.
Together with Buzzacott colleagues in the tax, VAT consultancy, HR Consultancy and financial planning teams, Alison ensures the smooth delivery of a range of complimentary services to her clients.
Alison presents at our client seminars and webinars, and internally leads on resourcing.
Outside of work, she enjoys participating in and watching sports and travel.
Allan joined Buzzacott in 2009 and is a Partner in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
He is a fully qualified UK Chartered Tax Adviser and US Enrolled Agent with 19 years' experience in the industry. In 2014, Buzzacott established its office in Hong Kong, and after relocating from the UK in 2017, Allan now leads the Expatriate Tax Services team there.
Allan serves the US and UK tax needs of his clients who range from high-net-worth individuals with inherited wealth, to owners and managers of small businesses. As well as private individuals, he also has significant experience of advising employers in relation to their globally mobile employees.
Allan has also served many non-US citizen clients who have business or investment interests in the US and non-UK resident clients with UK filing requirements arising from their investments in the UK, especially in the property market.
Prior to joining Buzzacott, Allan worked for Deloitte where he undertook assignments in Japan and India. Outside of work Allan enjoys travelling, hiking, playing the piano and playing tennis.
Amanda joined Buzzacott in 1987 as a graduate trainee and is a Partner in our Charity & Not for Profit team. She was Managing Partner of the firm for eight years until the end of September 2018.
Amanda advises a wide range of charitable and not for profit organisations and is a respected and well-known figure within the sector. She has a specific specialism for advising religious congregations and other religious, welfare and service charities.
She has significant expertise in charity audit and accounting as well as the provision of financial and general advice in respect to the operation of charities and trading companies associated with charities. Amanda is a regular contributor to Buzzacott's Trustee Training and Accounts for Non-Accountants events.
Amanda contributes regularly to the Association of Provincial Bursars annual conference and other conferences aimed at the sector and is a co-author of Charity Accounting and Taxation, published by Bloomsbury Professional Publishing.
Amanda was a trustee of The Royal Star & Garter Homes until June 2023 and, until 2019, a Governor and Chair of the Audit Committee of London Institute of Banking and Finance. She is also a Dame of the Pontifical Order of St Sylvester.
Anais joined Buzzacott in August 2019, and is an Assistant Manager in the Business Tax team.
She supports clients on both their compliance needs and in an advisory capacity. Most of her clients are in the financial and professional services sector, but she also works with charities, retailers and manufacturing companies.
Anais assists clients with the preparation and submission of tax returns for companies and partnerships, instalment payments including R&D relief claims, and capital allowance reviews.
In her advisory capacity, Anais specialises in employment-related securities and share schemes. This includes tailoring tax-efficient remuneration schemes for clients, as well as assisting entities in ERS compliance. She also provides advice to clients with cross-border operations on how to structure their tax affairs efficiently, as well as conducting tax due diligence reviews.
She works closely with Buzzacott's Assurance and Outsourcing teams to achieve the best result for her clients, especially those from abroad.
Anais joined Buzzacott after completing a degree in Law from King's College London, and became ACA-CTA qualified in 2022. She is fluent in English, French, German, and Spanish, and speaks basic Italian.
Away from her desk, she enjoys hiking, reading, visiting museums and spending time with family and friends.
Angus joined Buzzacott in 2016 and is a Senior Manager in our Financial Services team.
He works with FCA regulated firms, including hedge fund managers, asset managers, investment advisory firms, broker dealer firms and private equity firms. Angus supports these clients in navigating strict regulatory reporting deadlines and ever changing financial regulations. He helps with our client's various regulatory requirements and works hard to develop and maintain strong relationships them.
Together with his team, Angus provides guidance on key regulations such as IFPR, AIFMD and MiFID II. His specialist areas also include FCA regulatory reporting, Capital Adequacy, Annex IV reporting across the EU, ICARA and wind down documentation, forecasting and CASS compliance.
Anna joined Buzzacott in 2021 and is a Senior Tax Consultant in our Tax Investigations and Dispute Resolution team.
She works with different types of clients, ranging from high-net-worth individuals with complex requirements, to people and businesses with much more simple tax affairs.
Anna assists with complex fraud enquiries, such as those that fall within HMRC's Code Of Practice 9 (COP9) regime. She also deals with a wide variety of enquiries and compliance checks, including tax avoidance and national minimum wage investigations. Anna has done extensive work on cases involving offshore irregularities, which often involve making voluntary disclosures of undeclared offshore income/gains via the Worldwide Disclosure Facility (WDF).
Anna has also assisted a number of landlords in bringing their tax affairs up to date, often through the Let Property Campaign (LPC), or for more serious disclosures involving deliberate behaviour, the COP9 process.
It is very common for clients to be dealing with an ongoing tax investigation while also facing difficult personal circumstances. Using her specialist knowledge of HMRC's powers and her empathetic approach, she ensures different situations are dealt with sensitively, minimising stress for her clients.
Across Buzzacott, Anna works closely with our Expatriate Tax Services team to correct any UK tax irregularities that have arisen for individuals that have migrated to the UK. She's also an ambassador to our Private Client team, working to continuously improve our collaborative approach across the firm.
Anna is ATT exam qualified and is working towards a CTA qualification.

Anna-Louise joined Buzzacott in 2017 and works as an Associate Director in our Corporate Finance team.
She typically works with entrepreneurial businesses valued between £10m and £100m, assisting with growth and succession strategies. Anna-Louise believes strong business is built on good relationships, and this is what she prioritises with both her clients and her network.
Anna-Louise has specific experience and interest in advising female-led businesses, consumer brands and anything a little out of the ordinary!
Prior to joining Buzzacott, Anna-Louise worked at RBS in the convergence team.
Outside of work, Anna-Louise enjoys travelling and spending time with her young daughter and family. She also likes to keep fit by practising yoga.
Annabel joined Buzzacott in 2011 and is a Senior Manager in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
Annabel advises on UK and US tax compliance for American citizens residing in the UK or on assignment with their employer on temporary basis. She also works with high net worth individuals with international tax affairs.
Annabel is well rounded when it comes to UK and US tax and commonly advises clients on divorce cases, global mobility, share options and shareholders of controlled foreign corporations. Typically, Annabel's clients require tax planning in order to minimise double taxation as well as utilising tax reliefs both in the UK and US. Her expertise spans tax advice, compliance, planning, calculations and estimates.
Annabel often collaborates with Buzzacott's Financial Planning and Corporate teams to ensure her clients have the right structure in place to house their requirements, that their lifestyle needs are met and that they have the correct investments to avoid double taxation.
Annabel has a Law degree and is CTA, EA and ATT qualified. She is the November 2012 ATT Business Compliance prize winner having achieved the highest mark in the paper in the country.

Antoine joined Buzzacott in January 2020 and is Head of Financial Services Tax in our Corporate and Business Services team.

Before joining Buzzacott, Antoine was a Director within EY's UK Wealth & Asset Management Tax practice. Before that, he spent ten years working for Kinetic Partners, a start-up professional services boutique focused on asset managers and wider financial services businesses; with four of his years there spent working in Switzerland.
Antoine is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He also holds a Diploma in Swiss Law for Foreign Accountants from Educaris, Académie de la Chambre Fiduciaire.
Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking, swimming, rugby, the gym, socialising with family and friends and creating culinary delights, with a real passion for Provence.
Antony joined Buzzacott in 2019 and is a Senior Manager in our Tax Investigations and Dispute Resolutions team.
Antony originally trained to be a lawyer before moving into the tax industry; starting his tax career at a firm specialising in tax planning solutions for small businesses. After qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2015, he joined a top 50 firm of accountants, where he gained experience of compliance work and advised individuals, companies and trusts on a range of tax matters. In this role, Antony was heavily involved with clients seeking voluntary settlement of historic inaccuracies and also dealt routinely with compliance checks and investigations.
This led him to join Buzzacott, where he now works on a wide range of tax investigations, from straightforward enquiries to complex fraud investigations. He also oversees disclosures made using the digital disclosure service, such as those involving foreign income or rental profits, and those requiring more detailed submissions such as PAYE disclosures.
Outside of the office, Antony enjoys travelling and trying new foods.
Ashleigh joined Buzzacott in 2018 and is an Executive in our Corporate Finance team.
She typically works with entrepreneurial businesses valued between £10 million and £100 million to provide analysis through a range of services, including valuations, due diligence, sell-side, and buy-side assistance.
She has an Economics degree from the University of York. Outside the office, Ashleigh is a keen traveller and is learning to speak Arabic.
