Adam studied accountancy and financial management at the University of Sheffield where he obtained a first-degree honour and went on to qualify as a certified accountant with a local practice in 2011.
Adam has experience in a wide range of areas, such as audit, accounts preparation, VAT, Tax advice and improving client's IT systems such as implementing cloud-based software's, whereby he is a Xero certified advisor and has been Sage accredited.
Adam joined the practice in 2017 to further widen these skills and to focus on providing advice to small and medium sized businesses.
Adam is married with two daughters and enjoys a range of sports with his main passion being football.

Aimee started working for Hammond McNulty in 2009 going on to complete her ACCA exams in 2015 to become a qualified accountant. As a client service manager she enjoys maintaining a diverse portfolio of client's working with them in and out of the office, up and down the county.

Amanda trained in a previous accountancy practice for 3 years following completion of her A levels. Amanda has been an active member of the accounts and audit team since 1995 and qualified at Hammond McNulty in March 2000. Amanda then became a partner in January 2007.
She has since gained a wide range of experience with both personal and corporate clients and manages her own mixed portfolio. She also specialises in solicitors audits. Amanda is looking to further promote the practice and maintain and build on the excellent level of service provided to new and existing clients.

Joined Hammond McNulty in 2014 after working for a local accountancy practice for 32 years. Andrea gained her AAT qualification in 2003. Andrea enjoys preparing self-assessment tax returns.
Andrea is married with three grown up children and a cavalier king Charles spaniel called Charlie. She enjoys travelling the world, visiting family in New Zealand and mainly cruising, together with holidaying with friends. She also enjoys eating out with family and friends.

Colin joined the accounts team in 1990, qualified in 1999 and was initially attracted to the firm by the investment the company placed in IT. Colin initially worked on a diverse portfolio of client's, gaining experience in accounts, auditing businesses and in personal tax.
With Colin's enthusiasm towards computerising clients accounting systems, he worked towards improving his Sage knowledge and expertise and was soon leading this side of the business, implementing the accounts package and training the clients on how to get the best out of it for their business. He advised clients using Sage and helped them to get the best out of their accounting systems in order to develop their business.
Outside of work, Colin was married with two daughters and played pool in a local league, of which he was treasurer. He was a passionate follower of Crewe Alexandra FC.

Danielle joined the firm in 2002, becoming a qualified accountant in 2006 and then became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2011.
Danielle became a welcome addition to the partnership team in 2018.
Danielle brings a depth of experience to our firm. She enjoys problem solving for owner managed businesses helping clients achieve their goals in the process. Taxation has been a particular area of interest and expertise for Danielle and tackling complex matters will be part of her remit going forward.

David joined the team in 2018 after completing his A-Levels in maths, business studies and computer science. Since then, he has completed his AAT qualification and is currently working towards his ACCA qualification.
David left school at 16 joining a local accountancy practice as an apprentice where he gained his AAT qualification. Since joining Hammond McNulty in 2003 David has gained a wide variety of experience dealing with sole trader, partnerships and owner managed businesses which has helped him to develop as a Client Service Manager. David enjoys the day to day contact with clients ensuring complete understanding of their business. He also has experience with many accountancy software packages such as Sage, Quickbooks and Xero.

Helen started out in the banking sector after completing her A levels. Having worked there for 10 years Helen took a career break to bring up two children. Helen re-trained gaining book keeping and accounts qualifications before re-entering the workplace in payroll 1998. Helen joined Hammond McNulty in 2003 and manages the busy payroll bureau.
Helen is married with 2 daughters, a grandson and keeps chickens. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking her dog and baking using the freshest of eggs.

Jenny left university with a degree in Mathematics and went on to train with a local accountancy practice gaining 15 years' experience before joining Hammond McNulty in 2017.
Jenny has experience in the preparation of accounts, VAT, tax and bookkeeping and enjoys problem solving. Jenny is also proficient in handling numerous accounting software packages such as SAGE and Xero.

Julia started her career at 16 with a local accounting practice, learning the principles of accounting whilst studying for her AAT qualifications. After 9 years in practice, Julia moved to a Finance Manager role in the IT Industry, gaining valuable knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a business on a day to day basis and the importance of customer satisfaction, cashflow and staff management.
Freelance work followed, allowing Julia to work around her family, and that ultimately led to an association with Hammond McNulty in 2007. Since then she has enjoyed working with a variety of clients in differing industries.

Julie originally joined the Hammond McNulty team in Nov 1983, left in Dec 1990 to start a family and re-joined in March 2000. Julie is part of the accounts team helping with the preparation of accounts, VAT Returns and bookkeeping.

Native to Congleton, Kay joined the practice in 1985, working full time providing administration support across the practice initially from reception. After starting a family in 2004 she consolidated her skills to managing the practice time recording process and sales ledger control.

Marie qualified with a small firm based in Cheshire before leaving to join a larger multi office firm in November 1997 and became partner in 1998. Marie has over twenty three years experience in general practice with responsibility for handling a mixed portfolio of clients including solicitors, doctors, housing associations, limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. In more recent years, Marie has headed up the forensic department and has considerable experience in litigation support matters as well as working with a number of major clients in an advisory role. Marie joined Hammond McNulty in July 2000 and is looking to use her varied experience for the benefit of existing and new clients.

Peter left university with a degree in Law and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a middle tier firm in the heart of London. He was tempted back to his roots in 1994 and became a partner in July 1997. His initial background was audit based but since joining Hammond McNulty he has widened his scope to include unincorporated entities and now regularly provides advice to small and medium sized owner managed businesses.
Married with two sons, he is a keen sportsman and has been proud to represent Congleton on the rugby field but now concentrates on coaching mini rugby and improving his golf.

Rob is experienced in looking after small business accountancy and taxation affairs and is specialised in charity accounts. Harnessing his love of technology & scientific approach to problem solving Rob took on the role of IT manager in 2016 and enjoys helping staff and clients with any computer software or hardware issues they have.
Outside of work Rob has many varied interests including playing rugby for Congleton, free diving, climbing, CrossFit and he likes to relax in front of Netflix or enjoy a good computer game.

Sarah has worked in accountancy since 1986, with over 25 years' experience in payroll alone. Starting as accounts clerk, in a small local business, Sarah was lucky enough to try all aspects of an Accountancy Practice, from Audit/Accounting to Personal Assistant/ Administrator to finally settling on payroll as her forte.
She's a proud mother of two, who enjoys family time as much as ‘social' time. Her favourite things to do are walking her 5 year old rescue labrador, cooking, and chilling. So a dog walk, a pint in the local, followed by a roast dinner is her idea of a perfect day.
