Antony Martin - Chief Commercial Officer
Antony joined Totus in 2014 having previously held senior commercial and Director positions with PLCs. Coming from a background of civil engineering, building, utilities and M&E, Antony brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Experienced with various forms of contract, Antony provides commercial expertise, support and advice on risk management to our contracting team, our clients and project stakeholders.
Antony is responsible for the commercial management and administration of Totus. This includes driving good practice, managing procedures and improving the performance across our contracts as well as supporting the other Directors with strategy and growth plans.

As a founding Director of Totus, Jeremy is driven by a total commitment to quality of service and customer retention. Utilising the expertise of our dedicated and knowledgeable contracting team together with his own many years of local and national engineering expertise he can find the best engineering solutions for each project.
Jeremy works closely with any Client's team to ensure that the potential hurdles and obstacles are highlighted and resolved at an early stage to avoid possible delays and additional costs on schemes.
Jeremy has been involved in many prestigious projects including EDF Cannington Court, Gara Rock, Hampton by Hilton Hotel Exeter Airport, Sydenham House and Truro College Art and Automotive Buildings.
Based in our Cornwall Office, Joe has responsibility for the operational delivery and strategic growth within the county.
Joe joined Totus in 2012 and is responsible for all works in Cornwall as Operations Manager. Joe is passionate about developing strong relationships in the region and works hard to support his team to ensure that we always deliver.
Joe is a great advocate for Totus, creating a positive and enjoyable culture so that every member of his team from apprentice to contracts manager has the opportunity to learn new things and develop their skills within an enjoyable and rewarding environment.
Joe started his journey as an apprentice, progressing through various roles held at PLC companies before joining Totus. This provided Joe with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion. Joe has particular expertise in mechanical services and recently commissioned our in-house pre-fabrication welding facility to further support our Site Assembly Factory Environment (SAFE) working procedures. Joe works closely with our Renewables & Sustainability Manager to support consultants and clients with efficient solutions for their buildings.
Joe is committed to providing a pathway for young people into the industry based on his own experience and has many new apprentices working in the region.
Kevin joined Totus in 2011 taking on a role of Electrical Director with specific remit of developing the business in Cornwall. Having over 40 years' experience in the industry Kevin is vastly experienced in the delivery of projects including the design and pre construction elements.
Kevin's experience covers framework agreements with Procure 21 for NHS works and SWW Prime for the MOD sites across the South West, along with the successful delivery of Truro and Penwith College campus sites in the education sector. A range of prestigious projects have been delivered under Kevin's direction including The Marazion Hotel refurbishment for Lord St Levan, the refurbishment of The Hall for Cornwall theatre and St Johns Hall in Penzance.
Based in our Plymouth Office, Mark has responsibility for the operational delivery and strategic growth within the county.
Mark joined Totus in 2012 and is responsible for the delivery of all works from the Plymouth office. Mark is an extremely practical individual with strong leadership skills who is passionate about our industry and continuing to deliver industry leading, technologically advanced projects for the benefit of all our clients.
Mark's career started with an M&E consultancy business before he changed paths to gain qualifications as a site-based approved electrician. Mark quickly progressed in this role and moved into the site foreman position delivering large scale projects for a South West based PLC. These site years gave Mark the experience to understand the challenges faced by site teams and the skills required to identify and quickly overcome them. Mark has taken these experiences through his career to deliver successful high quality projects.
Before moving into his operational delivery role, Mark worked within the Totus pre-construction department. Mark again used his own practical experience, extensive technical knowledge and commercial mind to value engineer projects, building lasting relationships with the local supply chain and securing repeat business with our clients. Mark is a strong believer in the benefits of early involvement during the preconstruction period and has the right skills and aptitude to work with clients' contract teams to develop affordable and sustainable designs.
Nick has a successful and diverse background spanning technical, operational management, service delivery and project management. Responsible for the delivery of Special Projects within Totus, Nick and his team fulfil the role of Principal Contractor managing multi trades and maintaining high levels of H&S compliance.
Nick has managed and delivered successful frameworks and projects for direct end users across the South West region including clients such as Babcock, Plymouth NHS Trust, Universities of Plymouth, Exeter and Falmouth, Devon & Cornwall Police and Exeter & Plymouth Science Parks.
Nick is acknowledged for a well-defined understanding of the business interface and capacity to identify and align clients' emerging needs with products and services.
As one of the founding Directors of Totus Phil brings with him a wealth of knowledge from over 30 years' experience within the industry. Phil prides himself on client satisfaction and working to provide total solutions for every project. From early design, installation & maintenance all projects are managed by expert staff down to the smallest detail, delivering work of the highest standard with the overall aim not just to meet but to exceed our clients' expectations. As well as responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and completion of projects across the South West Region, Phil also takes on responsibility as our Health & Safety Director, working closely with our H&S Consultant ensuring compliance with legislations and regulations.
Based in our Exeter office, Richard has responsibility for the operational delivery and health, safety and well-being of Totus and our employees.
Since joining Totus in 2014, Richard's role has evolved from Contracts Manager to Operations Manager before being appointed as a Director in February 2021. Richard is passionate about creating a positive and enjoyable culture within Totus so that every member of our team has the opportunity to learn new things and develop their skills within an enjoyable and rewarding environment.
Having spent his entire career working within the MEP sector, Richard has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion. Richard has particular expertise in healthcare having delivered several interesting and challenging schemes in recent years. Richard is highly competent, technically brilliant and well-versed across all commercial sectors of building services engineering.
Richard is also our director responsible for health, safety and well-being. Working closely with our management team and health & safety advisors, Richard ensures that we meet the extremely high standards we set ourselves, comply with all relevant legislation and, ultimately, ensure that all our people go home safely at the end of each day.
Tim is one of the three founding Directors of Totus. Tim's responsibilities cover all aspects of finance and compliance.
