Janet McLean

Janet has been a First Aid Trainer and Assessor with Stewart First Aid for over 10 years. Janet worked for 7 years as a Staff Midwife and Midwifery Sister based in the theatre suite and labour ward constantly dealing with emergency care situations. She subsequently worked as a Staff Nurse in a care home for 8 years looking after elderly clients and as well as dealing with emergency situations. Throughout her time with Stewart First Aid Training Janet has developed client relationships with a diverse range from our customer base delivering all HSE first aid training programmes and other specialist courses such as Specific Hazards, Anaphylaxis and AED.

Karen Cassidy

Karen has worked for Stewart First Aid Training since June 2010. She has over 15 years experience as a first aid trainer and assessor and has built up her knowledge and skills which has enabled her to become an extremely highly regarded trainer. Karen was the First Aid Brigade Adviser for Scotland in the Army Cadet Force which meant she advised them regarding any first aid issues. Karen holds an Emergency Medical Technician qualification and is an active member of Community First Responders with the Scottish Ambulance Service. This allows Karen's continuous experience in emergency medical care situations. Karen relays this experience when teaching course delegates from Stewart First Aid Training's diverse range of customers allowing for a first class learning experience.
