Alex is an experienced Corporate Solicitor who specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, equity investments and private equity transactions.

Andrew is head of the Corporate and Finance team in Cardiff and is a highly experienced Solicitor who leads on some of the largest, most complex and high value corporate and private equity transactions in the Welsh market. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, banking and corporate finance, equity and debt investments, joint ventures and corporate governance issues.
Andrew is a member of the Business Council of the Cardiff Capital Region and is heavily involved in helping to determine policy and structures to drive business growth in the region.
David Williams is the Chairman of Geldards and has been with the firm since joining in 1989. David was pivotal to the firm's expansion and success in England in the 90's before taking on the role of Chairman.
David's role is often to coordinate the supply of services to clients. Because of his background outside the law, he is well placed to understand a client's needs and to ensure that our services are organised to meet them. He has a reputation for cutting through to the issues.
David continues to play a key role in both leading and participating in the day to day operations of some of the key departments within the firm, including the Private Client, Property and Public Sector teams. He remains the lead Partner for a number of the firm's top clients, including Pendragon PLC and Western Power Distribution.
As part of his commitment to the success of the East Midlands region, he holds a number of non-executive and trustee positions; he is a Deputy Lieutenant for the County of Derbyshire, past Chairman of the Derby Nottingham Metro Growth Board, Deputy Chair of D2N2 LEP, a Director of Nottingham Regeneration Limited, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Arkwright Society, a former Director of Derby County Football Club and became Deputy Chairman of the Employment Policy Committee at Nottingham Trent University in August 2019 where he is on the Board of Governors.
Internationally, David has represented the region at MIPIM, the world's leading property event, and has recently participated in trade delegations from the East Midlands to China to promote the region at a critical juncture for Britain's future trading position.

Helen is a Partner with 15 years' employment experience covering all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious for private, public and third sector organisations. Helen is a trusted advisor to her clients providing strategic advice on complicated employment issues such as collective consultation and transfers of undertakings. She is also an expert in data protection law advising clients on all aspects of this legislation, particularly those relevant to the employment sphere, such as individuals' rights and compliance.

As Chief Executive, Jeff is responsible for the strategic development and growth of Geldards along with the well-being of all colleagues. He also oversees the wider programme of Corporate Social Responsibility that Geldards undertakes as a business and employer in the communities we operate and clients we serve.
Jeff joined Geldards in 1991 having trained and worked for Slaughter and May in London for 7 years. Prior to becoming Chief Executive Jeff headed up Geldards' corporate team for over 10 years working for the firm's major corporate and utility clients on all matters including debt and equity financing, share offers, joint ventures, M&A (both public and private) and all types of contractual work.
Jon is a Partner handling large and complex commercial disputes across a broad range of sectors. He is joint head of the Automotive team, described in Legal 500 UK 2020 as a "powerhouse".

Nino is head of the Dispute Resolution team in the Midlands and specialises in all areas of Dispute Resolution, complex Commercial Contract disputes, Shareholder disputes, Adjudication and Contentious Intellectual Property. He also co-chairs the Firms Automotive Sector and is an Accredited Mediator with ADR. He is a facilitator bringing together experience of commercial negotiation and strategic advice to find a commercial solution for all concerned. He oversees Geldards' German desk.
Rachel is a Senior Associate in the Employment law team and is experienced in contentious and non-contentious matters, for both individuals and companies. Rachel advises a wide range of sectors in all aspects of employment law, including general HR advisory matters such as redundancies, grievances, disciplinaries and performance-related issues through to Tribunal claims. This includes claims such as unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination and contractual issues. She regularly assists the Corporate team in relation to TUPE advice. Rachel provides training, seminars and case law updates for her clients on a regular basis.
