The Shackleton Foundation improves the lives of disadvantaged young people across the UK. We do this through our unique leadership investment programme, inspired by legendary explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton's incredible courage and resilience in the face of adversity. We support social entrepreneurs who embody the leadership spirit of Shackleton; brave innovators with a creative vision to directly improve the lives of socially and economically marginalised young people... We provide assistance with practical aspects of starting up a social venture. This includes seed-funding and access to our Shackleton Leaders alumni network, so that we can give you the best chance of maximising impact and building a sustainable business model.
