Having worked both agency and client side in the market research industry, Charles is able to bring a '360 degree understanding' to what makes an effective piece of market research delivering insight and understanding into the issue in question. David Cox

David is a transport professional with 14 years of experience in transport planning, town planning and environmental assessment. He started his career working in Local Government in the south west of England, before moving into a consultancy environment. He recently joined Callidus in 2015. David has a strong project delivery and technical skills background, and an excellent understanding of the UK transport and planning sectors. He has worked on commissions for both public and private sector clients in the UK, Ireland, Malta, Saudi Arabia, West Africa, Australia, Armenia, Russia and Egypt. He has a wide range of transport and highways experience in development planning and appraisal, transport strategies, transport policy, and environmental assessment projects. David has an MSc distinction award in transport planning and received the CILT award for the best Master degree dissertation. Areas of Expertise • Development transport planning and appraisal

Ray Haughton

Ray is an experienced infrastructure design technician working at pre-planning, design and construction stages on a wide range of projects for both private and public sector clients covering predominantly Health, Education, Residential Development, Mining, Retail, Highways and Railways He specialises in infrastructure and drainage design and also has experience in project management specifically for Section 38/278 highway and Section 104 drainage schemes. Ray's Highways and Infrastructure experience includes extensive HA/VA design for S38 and S278 Highways, junction access design, mine haul roads, car parks, pavement refurbishment/design and concrete pavements. Richard Buckley - Managing Director

Richard began his career working in the design and construction of major civil engineering works, and spent many years in the far east working on undergound railway projects. He spent time working for contractors and in Local Government before settling as a consultant leading an infrastructure design and planning support team. He finally set up Callidus in 2008. Richard has a wealth of experience to call upon in relation to the coordination of engineering construction with other constraints at the planning stage of projects. He has presented evidence to public inquiries on transport and drainage matters on many occasions, all with successful outcomes on his technical discipline. Areas of Expertise • Highway Assessment

Robert Spriggs

Robert has over 20 years of experience in the field of transport planning, traffic engineering and highways. He started his career in Local Government working for a County Council followed by a London Borough. He then moved into consultancy where he has been for 14 years, working for a variety of small to medium sized practices, and until recently heading up the regional office of a major consultancy. Attracted by the firm's entrepreneurial spirit and professionalism, Robert joined Callidus as its Transport Director in 2011. Robert is a Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and has worked on commissions throughout the UK and overseas in Romania, Malta, India and Rep. Ireland. His experience ranges from supporting schemes of private sector developers, to public realm design work and strategic policy development. Robert is a proficient transport modeller and scheme designer. He is also a visiting lecturer at Bath University on transport appraisal and modelling and Bristol University on traffic engineering.
