Cranford Engineering has been working from the same premises, at the rear of Craddocks Parade, since 1940 - making moulds for the rubber industry. In the early days most of the products from the moulds (tools) were for the motor industry and we made tools for many of the famous car manufacturers such as Ford, Vauxhall, Jaguar, Triumph and General Motors. We also made tools for well known domestic appliance companies such as Goblin, Electrolux, Hoover and Dyson to name a few. Products we made the tools for have been shown on News at Ten and on the Tomorrows World TV programme. We even made a mould for the first National Lottery numbered balls...
