A chartered civil engineer with extensive experience in highway design and leading award-winning projects and transformational schemes, Ainhoa joined Metis in 2019 to lead the newly created highway engineering team. She developed and grew a team of talented individuals into the thriving team that it is today.
Today, as a technical associate director, Ainhoa is responsible for the quality assurance at Metis. She continues to deliver projects as a project director and supports Metis employees in their training and professional development.
Outside Metis, Ainhoa enjoys reading, hiking, and attempting to garden.

Cath is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' experience working with fast-growing SMEs both in house and in an advisory capacity.
Metis is no exception, and having overseen the finance function since the company's inception, Cath has relished the challenges that growth brings. Cath is responsible for ensuring that Metis has the right processes in place to support the team and providing insight to assist the board in making strategic decisions.
Outside of work, Cath enjoys running and paddle boarding.

Catherine is a Senior Engineer and has been with Metis for nearly 3 years. She joined Metis following her MSc in Water Resource Management and has a passion for sustainable water management and increasing community resilience to flood risk and climate change.

Having had enough of walking through puddles as a Postie, Danielle embarked on a mission to reduce flooding through DEFRA's River and Coastal Engineering degree. Now, as a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager, Danielle uses the experience she has gained over the last 8 years - 6 of them with Metis - to do just that. She is passionate about SuDS and using SuDS features to enhance our environment and promote a change in attitude towards sustainability. Danielle's enthusiasm extends to her spare time where she's an avid supporter of Crystal Palace FC, playing football herself for Eastbourne Town. When she does sit down, Danielle enjoys nothing more than playing with Lego with her daughter.

A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years' experience in infrastructure asset management in the UK and overseas, Luke takes an active role in the development of our industry. Nurturing future talent for both Metis and professional institutions, he is ambitious for the company, its people and the clients we work with.
Luke's ambition doesn't stop there - as a keen cyclist Luke has ridden stages of the Tour de France to fundraise for charity and also volunteers to support his local community.

Matthew joined the Highways Engineering team at Metis Consultants in 2019. He is an experienced engineer who has dedicated the past 5 years to working on infrastructure projects throughout London. Matthew is highly motivated to deliver exceptional quality in all aspects of engineering schemes, and he possesses a strong enthusiasm for developing solutions to complex problems.
As a driven leader, Matthew is passionate about fostering an environment where his team can thrive and reach their full potential.
Outside of Metis, Matthew is easy-going and enjoys staying active, travelling, and immersing himself in the great outdoors.

Mike joined Metis in 2013 after completing DEFRA's River and Coastal Engineering course. Having joined when the company was only five people, Mike has helped contribute to its growth. He now leads the Lead Local Flood Authority Support team.
He enjoys helping develop the knowledge of both colleagues and clients alike, whilst keeping Metis true to its core values. Mike has vast experience working with numerous councils and risk management authorities, investigating and mitigating flood risk and accessing funding opportunities.
In addition to his passion for sustainability, Mike is a proud Londoner and football nut.

William is a people person with exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration between client and stakeholder teams. He prides himself on his eye for detail and conscientious approach, ensuring projects delivered are always of the highest quality.
Outside of Metis, William has a passion for travel and the great outdoors, both here in the UK and abroad.
