Ana is a part of GIS Cloud Frontend Team.
After finishing a Master's Degree at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (University of Split) and a programming internship, she moved to Zagreb, where she continued to develop her professional skills. She found her calling working as a part of the ReactJS frontend team at her first job. This provided her a very good background to continue working in the Frontend realm, with skills that proved to be an excellent addition to GIS Cloud's frontend development.
Ana's outgoing nature and friendliness bring joy to the office, both during and after work hours. Her determination and resourcefulness in dealing with professional challenges are a great fit for the GIS Cloud team, as independence and flexibility are among the key values of the company's culture.
During off-hours, Ana enjoys watching movies, playing the guitar, listening to a wide range of music, or simply having a beer and watching a football game as a proud supporter of the Hajduk Split football club.
Antonija is the Head of Sales at GIS Cloud, leading a team of consultant specialists. With a background in Key Account Management and Senior Solutions Consulting, Antonija has extensive experience working with clients and mentoring colleagues. As a team lead, she continues to support and guide her team, helping them to grow and develop their skills.
Antonija's approachable and optimistic personality has helped her to build strong business relationships and win the trust of GIS Cloud users. Her love for geography, mapping, and social skills make her a perfect fit for the GIS Cloud Sales team. Since joining the company, Antonija has worked directly with users and organizations, advising them on leveraging GIS Cloud to improve their businesses. She enjoys giving live demos and sharing her knowledge of geo technology with others.
In addition to her role as Head of Sales, Antonija is also responsible for the GIS Cloud Learning Center. She oversaw a team of writers and content creators who developed resources to help users learn more about GIS Cloud's apps and features. With easy access to the Learning Center, GIS Cloud users can quickly get up to speed on everything they need to know to make the most of the platform.
Outside of work, Antonija is passionate about environmental protection and spends as much time camping and enjoying the outdoors as possible. She is a lifelong Scout with a special affinity for animals - especially her cat consultant, Milan. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and is known for her delicious cakes.
Overall, Antonija brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to her role as Head of Sales at GIS Cloud. She is a trusted advisor to her team and clients, and her commitment to environmental sustainability inspires us all.
As a member of our Growth team and a Customer Success Manager, Barbara is at the forefront of educating prospects about the GIS Cloud platform, guiding them through all possible uses of our apps for their projects. She aims to empower professionals around the globe by answering their questions and suggesting innovative solutions for their business problems.
Possessing an inquiring mind and at the same being a GIS expert, she is able to dive deep into specific client use cases across many industries and help them to make the best use of our apps to obtain optimal workflow for any short or long-term project. That is why she was entrusted to plan and lead GIS Cloud Education courses for our customers, who have nothing but high praises about her programs and teaching.
Barbara was always enthusiastic about maps and keen on problem-solving so she pursued a master's degree in Spatial planning and regional development. Getting acquainted with GIS, she realized its versatile application, enabling anyone to easily analyze, share and visualize spatial data for a wide range of uses. At this point, she wanted to further her knowledge of GIS and decided to go after a second master's degree, in Geoinformatics, at the Faculty of Geodesy.
Out of the office, Barbara enjoys cooking and baking, watching tv series (preferably sci-fi and fantasy), practicing yoga and participating in the occasional pub quiz with her friends (just for fun though, in her own words, they're not very good).

As a Head of Marketing, Dario is a go-to person for all things marketing and branding, responsible, among other things, for driving the overall strategy and execution of GIS Cloud's marketing efforts in collaboration with the Growth team. He started his career in GIS Cloud as a Solutions Consultant, which gives him a good understanding of the value GIS Cloud solutions offer their clients. Dario always looks for unique approaches to improve the content, campaign placement strategies, and overall marketing efforts.
After receiving a degree in Business Management from Rocky Mountain College, which he attended on a ski scholarship, Dario's career had interesting twists and turns. Being very versatile and lead by his curiosity, possessing a will to always try something new, his life became a series of great adventures.
Dario started his career in the construction industry in LA and worked his way up to a project management position, where he was running his own projects. He then moved back to Europe and started a completely different career in the music publishing industry, as a Licensing and Synchronization Manager. After enjoying sweet tunes in the music industry for 7 years, he had a short stint in the corporate world. He spent some time in a marketing department within the banking industry, before moving to the IoT sector and Home Automation industry. There he worked as a business development manager handling clients from all around the world.
Joining GIS Cloud was not so radical as the previous career moves, considering Dario stayed in the IT sector. He couldn't resist his curiosity about technology, and a hidden passion for exploring maps! We are proud to have in our team a former member of the Croatian National Ski Team and a Collegiate National Ski Champion, whose friendliness and humorous remarks keep people of GIS Cloud joyful. When he is not developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns, he enjoys playing football, biking, rock climbing, having sushi, watching movies and spending time with the family.
Dino is the CEO of GIS Cloud. Together with Marko Šantić, he was a pioneer in building what we know today as a modern cloud GIS, which had its roots in late 2007 when the two founded the company. It was his vision of GIS Cloud as "software as a se rvice" that was disruptive for the market at the time, opening many opportunities in GIS for individuals and organizations across the world. He is a co-architect of the initial GIS Cloud map engine based on vector tiles, years before the industry discovered the potential of that approach. Dino also created and implemented HTLM5 map engine, its design, innovation and unparalleled speed to this day. It is one of the main GIS Cloud's differentiators.
Dino started with software development and business activities while he was still in high school when he created and commercialized his first app. Throughout the years, Dino grew his expertise in various aspects of business development. His vision and determination, paired with a friendly approach to the team resulted in creating an unmatched environment for growth that positioned GIS Cloud as one of the leaders in the industry. Although mostly focused on leading the business, he can't resist giving an occasional contribution to software development, his first passion.
Dino is the face of GIS Cloud at various events, presentations, and conferences. He is also an active member of the startup community where he mentors and helps start-ups to develop their businesses. He is occasionally seen hanging out with the GIS Cloud team outside of working hours, initiating gatherings and setting the bar high when it comes to playing pool.
Dino's optimism and energy drive the company forward uniting teams, providing harmonious diversity and an atmosphere of collaboration and excellence. When he wants to clear his mind and relax, he enjoys hiking and roaming through the woods with Henri, the dog.

Igor is our COO, leading a team of consultants and customer support specialists. He is responsible for GIS Cloud business development, as well as for GIS Cloud Partner Network. Igor's proactivity and agility provided a frame for the business expansion and further commercialization of the GIS Cloud platform. He also introduced many internal processes which allowed the company to evolve.
Shortly after majoring in Geography at the University of Zagreb, Igor started working at GIS Cloud and soon discovered his talent for sales and business development. His energy and enthusiasm drive the whole Growth team, setting the bar high in reaching short and long-term goals. Igor also takes part in outlining the product development, providing feedback from GIS Cloud customers and partners. He established the GIS Cloud Partners network and always works on expanding on further partnerships, making GIS Cloud accessible to various stakeholders all around the world.
Igor is the person anyone would like to have on their team - he's a manager who leads by example, at the same time allowing his teammates to grow and evolve professionally. A great colleague, he is always goal-oriented, practical and ready to offer his help and expertise. This makes him an excellent mentor and manager. Being both sociable and sharp, Igor is an essential asset to the team and a natural negotiator who always manages to find the best way to handle projects and various daily responsibilities. Known for a strong dedication to personal and career growth, Igor constantly works on improving himself alongside the business processes.
He loves good food, craft beer, rock concerts, and above all, he enjoys spending time with his family.
As a backend developer, Ivan is using his engineering skills to further develop and maintain the GIS Cloud platform. This includes implementing new features across multiple apps, finding and fixing bugs, and assisting other departments when in need of developer support.
He previously worked in CARNET where he was maintaining the national e-Class Register application for teachers, students, and parents. After that, he moved to a small digital agency where he spent a short amount of time building custom web applications for clients and maintaining internal VPS's and other collaboration tools.
Ivan graduated from Zagreb University of Applied Sciences and obtained a Master's degree in Information technologies. While still at the university, he attended a lecture held by GIS Cloud where he learned about GIS. This inspired him to write his Bachelor's thesis about Spatial databases where he got the opportunity to work with maps and spatial data.
Ivan loves developing and maintaining large-scale systems, optimizing and making code more efficient and organized. Also, he is a big fan of automating tasks and processes. Besides the backend, he is very interested in mobile development, especially hybrid mobile development.
Even though he seemed quiet at first, his humorous remarks and witty comebacks quickly gained appreciation amongst his GIS Cloud colleagues. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and playing football two times a week, participating in pub quizzes, and playing board or online games with friends.

Luka is a part of the Backend team at GIS Cloud. His tasks range from tinkering with APIs to fiddling with database queries and weeding out pesky bugs.
While still a student in CS, his curiosity and eagerness to learn more push him to do his best. He is determined to get to the bottom of every problem and is always ready for a challenge or looking for new ways to improve himself.
From a young age, Luka enjoyed learning about technology and computers, something that shaped his experience later on in a high school where he worked with all kinds of platforms, from web to mobile.
Luka enjoys pursuing his game dev hobby which stems from his passion for gaming. In his free time, he likes going for a good movie or visiting exciting new places.

As a DevOps engineer, Mario is responsible for keeping GIS Cloud running, automating stuff to make lives easier for the rest of the team, and keeping our database in good shape.
With a background in the telecommunications industry, where he worked on the development and maintenance of in-house apps and services, as well as keeping Linux servers in check, he has significant experience in automating processes, building tools, and implementing new systems.
Since he was young, he has enjoyed everything related to computers and technology, especially programming, which he got into during the lower grades of elementary school, working in BASIC on an old Schneider CPC 464.
Mario likes to spend his free time reading both fiction and non-fiction, playing badminton, 3D printing, and working with electronics and microcontrollers (Arduino and Raspberry Pi), making his home smarter, and testing the endurance of circuit breakers in the process. Besides that, he enjoys concerts, music festivals, socializing, playing board games, and brewing his own beer.
As a part of the Frontend team, Marko is involved in developing our core platform and JavaScript API, always trying to improve user experience in GIS Cloud. He also helps with technical support with GIS Cloud API.
During his studies, Marko and his colleague developed Save My Crops application for agriculture, which won a regional award. With their app, they entered the global NASA Space Apps Challenge and made to the final selection amongst 130 cities across the world.
He graduated from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geodesy in the class of 2015. During college, Marko was developing programs for satellite images processing and 3D modeling. Now he lives with his family in Pula, Croatia. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in nature, mostly trekking and hiking.
Alongside Dino Ravnic, Marko is the main technical mind behind the GIS Cloud platform. He created one of the first fully interactive online maps that was possible to browse, search and add your content to, five years before Google Maps. It was a map of the capital of Croatia and the project was launched in 2000, while Marko was still in high school. Even then, it was obvious that his restless spirit won't settle for anything ordinary so it didn't take long until he met Dino and decided to turn their college hobby into a business. The two founded their first company in 2007, invented the concept of vector tiles and implemented it in a proprietary map engine technology, years before the industry discovered the potential of that approach.
Marko leads the team of developers, outlining the future of collaborative GIS. As one of the founders of GIS Cloud, his vision combined with expertise were the essential prerequisites for developing innovative technologies that positioned GIS Cloud as one of the leaders in the industry. Marko's experience in design and UX were crucial for a slow shift toward creating an unmatched user experience for GIS Cloud users.
Marko's capacity for learning new things, open-mindedness and rarely seen talent for a wide variety of areas also made him an award-winning dancer and a self-taught instrument player who places a high value on achieving the good balance of body and spirit. You can see him attending all kinds of events, always eager to explore the unknown and think outside of the box what proved to be crucial both in business and personal development. Above all, Marko enjoys travelling and exploring new cultures and cuisines.

Martin is part of the Quality Assurance team working mainly in testing new and existing features, reporting bugs while working collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases. His ultimate goal is to make sure that the platform is running smoothly.
The passion about geography and maps for Martin goes back to when he was a young kid. He pursued a Bachelor degree in Geography from the Faculty of Science in Zagreb and obtained a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems. While pursuing his degrees, Martin worked for three years in a company specialized in market research as a data analyst. His tasks included data scraping and database management. The knowledge about databases shaped his understanding of other forms of information - especially spatial information that is the main element of GIS.
Martin met GIS Cloud at first while he was an intern back in 2018 and now becoming part of the GIS Cloud team is one of his professional, but also private accomplishments.
As a passionate geographer, Martin enjoys traveling around the world, exploring new histories and cultures. After work you will find him taking long walks accompanied by his dogs, and on the weekends swimming in the river at his summer house. Following his interest in Irish culture, Martin enjoys playing Gaelic football with his teammates, or hanging out with them in his favorite Irish pub.
Melita is the Office Manager and one of the most cheerful members of the GIS Cloud team. Being very energetic, enthusiastic and well organized, she is an excellent office manager, making sure that all things at the office are in order.
She takes care of the daily administration and finances, taking pride in doing things on time, always anticipating everyone's needs. Melita is a great fan of office pets due to her big heart, but she enjoys most when she can spend some free time with her two girls, family and friends. She also enjoys hanging out with the rest of the team.
Nenad is a jack-of-all-trades and takes part in pretty much anything development-related in GIS Cloud, even though he believes that his time is best spent on the mobile apps development, front-end, and general architecture.
He started working with GIS Cloud in the early days and become one of the key members of the development team, who dedicated a lot of his time and energy to the adventure of building GIS Cloud platform and apps. His main responsibility is the development of one of our flagship products - Mobile Data Collection, as well as other mobile applications like Map Viewer. Neno's previous expertise in working with geo technology and excellent development skills significantly contributed to the overall feel of the platform. He is always in pursuit of new knowledge, techniques or design solutions, constantly trying to get our product to a new level.
Nenad is an outdoor enthusiast, spending a lot of time travelling, cycling and hiking, committed to exploring new things, from various mobile apps to the exotic cuisine. His open-mindedness, curiosity, and wits made him a great debate partner when talking about anything from the new technologies and design to the varieties of beer production. Also, he makes great coffee and doesn't hesitate to share it with his colleagues.
As a previous member of the customer support team, working closely with our Customer Success Experts, Consultants, and Developers, to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve client support issues, she gained a better perspective on our client's wants and needs. Now as a QA Team Lead, working closely on the technical side with our developers she gained an even deeper insight into the inner workings of GIS Cloud apps and platform.
Vera is testing the GIS Cloud platform and applications for bugs, but also detecting and anticipating other issues our customers may encounter making sure that every new upgrade of our platform runs smoothly.
Vera graduated from the Faculty of Science and obtained a Master's degree in Geography, majoring in Geographic Information Systems. Throughout her education, and as her interest in the field of geoinformatics evolved, Vera was constantly motivated to keep expanding her knowledge and skills through student practices and specialized courses.
Working at GIS Cloud proved to be a perfect blend of her love for geography and mapping, and the exciting world of IT/software development, which motivates her to grow personally and professionally.
Around the office, Vera is known as a DJ, lighting up the atmosphere with uplifting music from her favorite bands such as The Beatles, and occasional singing! She loves hanging out with friends as much as possible, traveling every chance she gets, enjoying delicious food and drinks, discovering new music, movies, and tv-shows.
