From 1 April 2023 RISE SW11 and RISE SW15 merged together as one project to reach older people across the borough of Wandsworth with a programme of day services and outreach. We began a new 5 year contract with Wandsworth Council to provide an "enhanced" Age Well service with a particular emphasis on providing support for people affected by Dementia and memory loss... We have recruited our new RISE+ Outreach Co-ordinator, Bryce Schneider who has a background in project management and has worked throughout the world. We are so glad to have increased our team and are looking forward to introducing him to all the staff and colleagues that we work alongside... Compassion and kindness is at the heart of the services we provide and we look forward to the changes that we are facing following the Covid-19 pandemic. Isolation during Covid was a major problem for a generation that are not in the main digitally active and the withdrawal of face-to-face services from health and social care..
