David Hillman

Since 2005, David has led work for the Financial Transactions Tax and in 2010 helped create the Robin Hood Tax campaign, a network of more than 100 UK charities, trade unions, faith organisations and green groups. David learnt campaigning leading grassroots efforts in the UK to end Apartheid, before going on to work on the campaigns to ban landmines and drop the debt. He has considerable experience of bringing together the efforts of numerous non-governmental actors to achieve change.

Katie Ní

Katie leads on communications for Stamp Out Poverty and campaign co-ordination for the Make Polluters Pay coalition. Katie was previously the President of Queen's University Belfast Students' Union in 2021/22, and led many initiatives and campaigns relating to climate justice, mental health & wellbeing, reproductive justice and student support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ken Penton

Ken is a highly experienced, creative and successful UK political campaigner, with a successful track record of changing UK public policy for the better, with particular interest in and commitment to social and environmental justice issues. He has been a Senior Political Adviser to the UK Labour Party twice during his career, advising on Employment, Environment, and Economics, respectively. He is a former head of media and politics for the UK steelworkers' union Community. He has been a on several occasions been a political consultant. During his career he has been a trusted political and media relations adviser for senior figures from the world of politics, business, and civil society.
