Nigel's experience spans some 30 plus years working in multiple jurisdictions, providing both corporate and high net worth clients with bespoke financial solutions. Drawing from his experience in finance and corporate administration, Nigel leads the advisory team providing portfolio analysis, financial modelling and structure review services. He also advises on reporting and filing requirements and manages the implementation of best practice - ensuring a robust framework is in place on which to build the clients' growth strategy. Starting his career in London with Lazard Brothers where he worked on debt, project finance and leasing solutions for large corporates, he then moved to their Jersey subsidiary as banking manager. This position led to Nigel becoming more involved in private client structures, property finance and international wealth management. After 12 years with Lazard's Nigel joined Royal Trust of Canada (subsequently acquired by Royal Bank of Canada) and in the early 1990s moved to Canada as part of the Global Private Banking business development team. In this position he was at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative financial solutions for both corporations and high net worth individuals, both resident and non-resident of Canada. He subsequently undertook similar roles with CIBC and as Vice-President Wealth Structuring with Citibank Private Bank. In 2005, Nigel left Canada and moved to Barbados as Managing Director of a regulated trust and corporate services provider. Returning to the UK in 2010, Nigel established a business consulting partnership with a former colleague and worked with both private clients and corporations to provide business planning, financial analysis and structuring solutions. In addition to his role at Red Eight, Nigel is a Director of Sound Diplomacy Limited, a leading global music consulting firm and sits, with Andrew, on the Board of a Swiss based single family office investment management company.
