Richard Barker

Richard Barker - With over twenty years of both public and private sector experience to Managing Director level within Housing, Leisure and Direct Services Organisations he has a wealth of experience within client and contractor fields. Richard has been delivering transitional and major transformation projects for the last ten years and is an expert in organisational and strategic change as well as projects. His strengths in delivering cultural changes encompassing the innovation of both management and staff are a major strength within our change expertise. Richard Kitson - Having worked to Chief Executive Level for the Aster Group and Director level for both Councils and Housing associations he brings a wealth of experience to our change teams specifically his strategic insight. A former president of the Chartered Institute of Housing he is able to bring a unique level of expertise within business transformation. His strengths relating to leadership training, development of managers and mentoring have added significant strengths to our family. Gilem Komur - An experienced Housing Project Manager she brings a significant level of experience relating to IT implementation, quality controls and process mapping. Specialising in areas relating to systems within the change requirement her knowledge and expertise allows significant efficiencies to be delivered. Her experience relating to research into change management techniques of leading global organisations specifically eastern principles of change is leading to high levels of creativity within our change projects.

Richard Kitson

Richard Kitson will become the Associate Advisor to PMCDE in October 2009 following stepping down as Group Chief Executive of Aster Group. Aster is one of the leading south west based housing association groups with assets exceeding £570m, an annual turnover of £80m and employing over 900 people. The organisations in the Group manage and maintain around 16,000 homes, have a substantial development programme and are involved in a range of other activities including low cost home ownership and care and support. Aster has been recognised as a Beacon Company by the South West Regional Development Agency and achieved 'first class' in the Best Companies Awards 2009.
