I have worked at Av injection for a total of 27 years. I currently hold the position of maintenance supervisor. My daily duties include the running of the maintenance department, overseeing a small group of engineers and carrying out pre planned maintenance tasks and trouble shooting of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns around the plant.
I am Billion and Negri Bossi moulding machine trained with apex and kuka robotics knowledge.

I have worked in the Injection moulding industry for 16 years. In this time I have gained a vast knowledge of Injection moulding. I am responsible for the Warehouse and all transporting of goods to the customers. Liaising with customer and production Manager/2nd ops Manager also Quality Control to ensure all goods are dispatched and delivered on time. Where possible our own transport vehicles and in house drivers are used for delivery to customers, if however a larger vehicle is required we have a network of transport companies that I can call on for UK & Overseas deliveries.

I have worked at AV Injection for the past 16 years and have a wide range of knowledge in injection moulding. I am responsible for all aspects of the assembly within the department quality/training and production control. Organising stock control and working to delivery schedules to achieve order deliveries on time. Working closely with Machine Production Manager and Warehouse Logistics Manager. Communicating with customers were necessary calling in any bought out parts required to complete assemblies.
Service 30 years started at 16 to present, Age 17-20 Mould Setting on 3 shifts, Age 20-24 Shift Foreman, Age 24 current Technical / Tool trailing of new / current / Modified Tooling.
Day to day trouble shooting moulding problems to attain good quality components along with minimal cycle time/completing mould data sheets for future production runs.
Recommendation to internal / external tool makers of any tool issues that need correcting / modifying. If the tool is costing you in down time and quality! Then all you need is do is contact AV & we will rectify any issues/concerns with our in house professionally. In 2001 - Passed City n Guilds (Injection Moulding Condition Setting). In 2002 - Passed D32 to train setters / D34 to verify and approve mould setters through NVQ level 1, 2 & 3. Carried out tool trails for Land Rover / Jaguar / Ford / Bentley from T1 to full approval.
Phil Whetton Director has been here since the beginning, he has now got over 35 years' of experience in Injection Moulding. Working mainly in the technical areas Pneumatic, Electrical, Hydraulic, Tooling, Electronics, and Robots, Plant and Machinery and Design. A problem solver if you need a part making, or need a solution to a problem Phil will probably have an answer. Experienced in using a vast amount of different raw materials. If we were to cut him in half it would probably say 'AV Injections'!
Tony started with the company over 30 years ago. Working on the shop floor, in the beginning, has a setter working on all different types of moulds and materials. Making great process Tony worked his way up the setting ranks until he became Foremen in charge of his own shift. Tony procession did not stop there promotion to Production manager was the next step in charge of the total product of the Injection Moulding department. Tony's knowledge in a vast array of different types of raw materials helping in making sure the customer gets the right material product for the right application. Tony worked closely with AV Injection's and outside Tool, makers knowing what the customer wanted to have achieved regarding the finished product, he helps make design changes to tooling helping the process of the moulding. Soon Tony became a Director of the company and move into sales with his knowledge in material, tooling, design and Injection moulding now adding up to over 30 years of experience in his field. A big part of AV Injection was if a customer has a problem or needs advice, AV injection will probably have an answer.
Wesley Belmore joined AV Injection in 2006 and joined a very active sales team.
Wesley had already been working in the Plastic industry for 8 years in sales, quoting, purchasing etc. Having joined the team he soon moved into production were skills in planning, project managing, purchasing of bought our parts were required. With Wesley's knowledge of the industry and process and vast knowledge of the material, he has become a key member of staff. Offering point to point customer relations and being able to answer a customer inquiry. Wesley now heads a team of production staff to meet all the customer requirements needs.
