ACCOUNTANTS ADVICE - Key Persons
Andrew qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 with Brown Butlers Chartered Accountants. After spending almost 10 years with the firm, he joined Mitchells Group which, at the time, was a small accountancy practice focusing on medium sized companies.
Here, Andrew became a Director responsible for audits and the relationships of larger businesses. Then in 2011, Mitchells Group merged with Barber Harrison and Platt to form the largest independent practice in Yorkshire and Andrew became an associate responsible for key Leeds clients.
Andrew joined Accountants Advice in 2014. Andrew specialises in owner-managed businesses and manages all compliance and tax services for the client as well as helping with advisory functions such as finance raising and business plans.
Andrew is married with two children and a Welsh Springer Spaniel and spends the majority of his weekends ferrying children to various sports activities.
Bob is a CIMA qualified Member in Practice who worked for a mid-sized accountancy firm until ten years ago when he saw a niche in the market. Bob set up Accountants Advice to service small businesses and apply his management accounting skills to help the owners manage their day-to-day businesses based on real-time information.
Bob has an interest in IT and looks for opportunities to utilise modern technology to streamline processes and make the accounts function more efficiently and cost effectively.
Out of work, he is a family man, with two boys that keep him busy, and a push bike that sometimes sees the light of day.
