Alexandra Newton, Principal Chiropractor and Managing Director of Beeston Chiropractic Clinic Limited, started her career in Derby where she practiced for three years before setting up her own practice in Beeston with husband Michael (Practice Manager) in 1993. She was born in Derby and grew up in Castle Donington before studying at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic - Europe's first Chiropractic College. She graduated in 1990.
Since the birth of their three children and grandson, she has had an increasing interest in the treatment and promotion of health in young children, babies and during pregnancy. Her post graduate education is principally aimed at paediatric care, having completed her Masters degree in Advanced Professional Practice in Paediatric Musculo-Skeletal Health in 2014. She enjoys a busy practice with patients of all ages.
She is also a training mentor for the Royal College of Chiropractors which involves her supporting new graduates through their PTR (Post-Registration Training) Programme. PRT helps ensure a smooth transition from the undergraduate setting to autonomous professional practice in the clinical setting and is designed to be helpful and supportive.
Anne Etherton, Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner grew up in Gloucestershire. She studied at Bristol, University where she read Microbiology. She worked in Public Health and the Food Industry in Microbiology and Product Development for 20 years but during this time decided to do a career change studying a 4-year course at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, gaining a Diploma of Acupuncture and a Master of Science from the University of Wales in 1999.
Her MSc was about atopic asthma and how this is understood in Chinese medicine. She gained in 2014, a Post Graduate Diploma of Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Northern College of Acupuncture and Middlesex University.
She has been practicing in her home clinic at Sutton Bonington, Loughborough, and in Beeston for the last 20 years and in 2018 joined the team at Beeston Chiropractic Clinic.
Erin is a chiropractic graduate who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, and goal-oriented in providing an excellent healthcare experience to improve patients' quality of life.
Through her experience as a first aider, she has developed empathy and decision-making skills which she could incorporate into the clinical setting to provide personalised care. She has a keen interest in paediatrics and rehabilitative care.

Jo Teft qualified as a sports massage therapist (SMT) in 2020. She is a mum of three and also grandmother to three grandchildren. She first became interested in SMT after watching her sister experience years of rehabilitation after having Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
She loves to hike and run as well as take part in PT sessions. Her partner is an ultra-marathon runner so she's never short of runners from his club requiring her skills.
She loves implementing the philosophy of ‘activate, recover & repair' to her business.
