Wirral 3Ls is a Registered Charity Limited by Guarantee, and was established in 1995 under the umbrella of the Learning in Later Life Programme, originally sponsored by Wirral Metropolitan College, but it is now a unique and independent self-supporting organisation. It has no connection with the U3A... Our learning provision is through non-accredited courses which reflect the wide range of interests of the community we serve. Experienced Tutors ensure that each class is pitched at a level suitable for all learners. We canvass members' opinions on the range of subjects offered and update our programme depending on the viability of the suggestions and the resources available to us... Our courses are planned around an academic year consisting of three 10-week terms and we produce a comprehensive programme for each term, detailing the classes and the fees charged.
