Formed 32 years ago, BOSP is a small independent charity that relies on the kindness & compassion of charitable trusts, personal donors, and corporate/community fundraisers, to enable us to deliver our work... BOSP aims to offer children and young people with disabilities access to the same activities and opportunities as their peers, allowing them to develop independence, self-esteem and social skills in a supportive environment, whilst their families benefit from the vital break our sessions provide, enabling them to catch up on much needed sleep, spend time with their other children or just have an undisturbed shower or cup of tea... BOSP receives no Government funding and relies on charitable trusts, donations, and corporate/community fundraising to deliver our services. We aim to raise over £450,000 per annum. 89p out of every pound is spent on direct service delivery.
