Director Abigail van der Berg Abby is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years' experience in the property industry. She joined Helix as an Associate Director in 2016 and was promoted to Director in 2017. Abby has worked across all asset classes for various institutional clients, pension funds and high net worth individuals. Abby now specialises in managing prime Central London offices and has dealt with a number of buildings take-ons and set-ups, as well as assisting with large client redevelopment projects. :avdb@helixproperty.co.uk
Alexandra is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years' experience in property and asset management. She joined Helix in 2022 as a Director with responsibility for managing Central London Prime office space.
Alexandra's experience includes the management of both Landmark properties and those with complex service charges. In addition she was one of the first RICS appointed service charge consultants, confirming her in-depth knowledge of service charge and the management thereof. Her transfer to Helix has allowed her to concentrate on her main interest of multi let office properties.
Alfie is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and joined Helix in June 2022 after achieving a first-class BSc (Hons) in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University. Alfie has 3 years' experience in property and asset management, working within various asset classes, including Industrial, Retail and Multi-let central London offices for various high net worth individuals and institutional clients.
Alice joined Helix in October 2023 as a Graduate Surveyor. Having completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Exeter, she is now completing her master's in real estate from the University of College Estate Management. Alice predominantly manages prime Central London office space, and mixed-use assets throughout the UK.
Amy Soar - Managing Director
Amy is the Managing Director of Helix and is responsible for overseeing the direction of the business. She manages the relationships with all of our key clients and closely monitors service delivery to ensure that we always meet and exceed expectations. Amy is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 15 years' experience of property and asset management. She joined Helix in 2013 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2017.
Andy is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years' experience managing commercial property across a spectrum of asset classes for a variety of foreign and domestic clients. Andy joined Helix as a Director in March 2020 and focusses on stakeholder engagement to maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships, quality of service and reputational strength.

Chi has extensive knowledge and experience in property accounting in shopping centres and multi-let premises. She has worked in property management for over 18 years and has experience in both client, service charge accounting and Tramps accounting package. Chi previously worked at Colliers International for 17 years before moving to Helix on both investment and occupier teams.
Chi joined Helix in September 2022 as a Service Charge Accountant and manages the service charges for the clients.
Daniel joined Helix in August 2023 as a Graduate Surveyor after completing his Undergraduate Degree at Oxford Brookes University. He has since been involved with a range of asset classes, conducting inspections, handling tenant queries or issues and joining a team with multiple properties throughout the UK. Working closely with the Property Management, Facilities Management and Accounting teams within Helix, striving to provide a range of property management services.

Dawn has over 20 years experience in the facilities management industry. Dawn joined Helix in 2012 and following her promotion to Head of Facilities Management in 2017, leads the team in providing occupational excellence across all areas including compliance, ESG and innovation.
Debbie has over 20 years' experience in property and management accounting and has been working at Helix since 2005.
Emma has over 20 years' experience working in property and client accounting. She joined Helix in 2018 as a Property Accountant and was promoted to Financial Controller in 2019.
Ethan is a qualified chartered surveyor and joined Helix in September 2022 as a graduate surveyor and was promoted to surveyor in November 2024. Ethan has over 2 years' experience in property and asset management, working for various asset classes for various high net worth individuals and institutional clients.
Fleur qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in November 2022 and has nearly 5 years' experience in property and asset management. Fleur joined Helix in December 2023 as a Senior Surveyor and has worked across various asset classes for numerous clients.
Francesca joined Helix in August 2024, as Head of Service Charge, and is responsible for the Service Charge Accountants for Helix managed properties. She has over 12 years' experience in the property industry, covering Commercial, Residential, Retail, Industrial and Agricultural. Her previous roles in Norfolk and London have always been focused on Property Finance - including Property Accounts, Client Accounts and Service Charge.
Ivan is a Chartered Surveyor with 19 years of experience in the commercial property sector. He joined Hines in 2014, as part of the asset management team, responsible for overseeing operations across the Hines UK portfolio. In 2016, he established our in-house platform, aparto, for purpose-built student accommodation. Currently, as the Head of Operations in the UK and a member of the Helix and aparto boards, Ivan focuses on client relationships, business development, leading the Design for Management team, and advancing our ESG and decarbonization strategies.

Jemima is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with a first-class BSc (Hons) in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University, where she graduated in 2022. Since joining Helix in September of that year, she has gained experience across multiple asset classes, including multi-let central London offices and industrial assets. During her time at Helix, Jemima has worked for a diverse range of clients, both private and institutional, with a focus on managing Central London prime office spaces.

Kinga previously worked for Helix a decade ago, bringing extensive experience in property management, including expertise in property maintenance, tenant relations, and budget management. She holds the membership grade of Member (MIWFM) and is IOSH / NEBOSH qualified, with a proven track record of optimising operations, enhancing property value, and delivering outstanding client service.
Laura is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over ten years' experience of property and asset management. Laura joined Helix in 2011 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2019. She manages a mixed portfolio of assets across the UK. Laura has handled several buildings take-ons and assisted clients with redevelopment projects.
Laura is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 12 years' experience in the property industry She joined Helix as an Associate Director in 2017 and was promoted to Director in 2019. Laura specialises in the management of Central London trophy assets.
Lee has over 18 years' experience in facilities management. Lee joined Helix in 2006 and was promoted to Head of Health & Safety in 2018.

Oliver is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with nearly 5 years' experience in property and asset management, he joined Helix in June 2023 and was promoted to Associate Director in March 2025. Having studied for a master's degree alongside his work, he achieved chartership in November 2022. Oliver has worked mainly for institutional and private overseas clients across a range of different property classes, now with a focus on managing Central London prime office spaces.

Phil is a qualified procurement professional with over 20 years' experience working across multiple industries, with a focus on facilities and property management. Phil joined Helix in January 2024 and oversees procurement activity for all services across the Helix, Hines UK and aparto portfolio.
Phil works at all levels of the business supporting property specific operational requirements and companywide strategic initiatives, such as ESG and supply chain optimisation.

Rick is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with nearly 40 years of experience in property and asset management. Rick has experience in all asset classes but specialises in multi-let office buildings, analysing service charges to identify service improvements, drive cost efficiencies and introduce ESG initiatives. He has extensive experience of office refurbishments and replacement of landlord plant and equipment. Rick is a strong advocate of building close working relationships with occupiers to identify opportunities to enhance value and retain them for the long term.
Sanaa joined Helix in March 2024 as Property Administrator, and is a business graduate with approximately 5 years' experience in administration. Prior to joining Helix Sanaa was managing accounts for one of Europe's biggest purchasers of consumer and business Loans. This consisted heavily of debt collection, dealing with accounts in arrears and building/ maintaining relationships with key clients. These transferrable skills are very relevant to Sana's role at Helix.
