BORIS Television in its current form exists since 2001. Prior to this Patrick Lett, the founding Director worked extensively throughout the world in the broadcast industry. BORIS was brought into being to fufill the original requirements of filming committee room sessions within the Houses of Parliament using a lightweight fully portable Broadcast Unit. Since then the lightweight concept has been maintained and developed for multiple applications to facilitate requirments as diverse as filming Junkets, Live Concerts, Royal Celebrations, Web Streaming and Large Sporting Events... Today BORIS Television is now fully HD and has grown to be able to support a medium sized OB requirement. We were early adopters of a fibre-based multiple camera control system which enables us to operate at long range without loss of quality.
