PRIMARY CARE TRAINING CENTRE - Key Persons
Alan is our Operations Director. He is responsible for business development, and also teaches on several of our non-clinical courses.
Annabelle is a specialist nurse with 25 years' experience working in the NHS and has spent the last 10 years focusing her attention to the field of Tissue Viability within BDCFT community services. She teaches on our wound care and leg ulcer courses.

Carolyne is a Heart Failure Nurse Specialist, and the lead tutor on our Cardiovascular Disease Management course.
Darren is an experienced nurse who teaches on our Minor Injuries course. He is know by his colleagues as "rope-head" due to his distinctive dreadlocks!

Alison is a Clinical Psychologist and experienced Senior Manager. She teaches our mental health courses.
Amy has worked as a GP at The Ridge Medical Practice for 10 years and has developed a passion for improving women's health through her women's health clinics in primary care.

Manjit, is Clinical Director for NHS Leeds North CCG and also works a GP seeing patients. He is the lead tutor on our Diabetes courses.
Dr Sarah Hattam is a GP in West Yorkshire with special interests in women's health and menopause and workplace health and wellbeing.
She is a member of the British Menopause Society and has completed their postgraduate certificate in Principles and Practice in Menopause Care. She is passionate about skilling healthcare professionals up to feel confident in managing the menopause so that women in menopause transition receive the best support and care. She also works as a GP Appraiser for NHS England and is the founder of www.conciliohealth.com.
Jo is a Dietitian with many years experience, and has taught on our Diabetes course almost since we started.
Jo is a Practice Nurse and teaches on several of our HCA courses.
Julie Crookdake is a Practice Nurse who teaches on our Respiratory Disease course and several of our HCA courses.
Kate has 20 years of experience in nursing, with a back ground of plastics, orthopaedics, and district nursing, and is currently working in the specialist area of community tissue viability. She teaches on our wound care and leg ulcer courses.
Linda is an experienced Practice Nurse who teaches on our Immunisation and Travel Health courses.
Linda was one of the founders of the Training Centre, and was Clinical Director until her retirement in 2020.
Mandy makes sure that Crow Trees is always clean and tidy, and also ensures that students are well fed when they visit us. Her jacket potatoes are the stuff of legend!

Naomi was one of the first students to successfully complete our Cert HE programme. She has since qualified as a Practice Nurse, and we are delighted that she has joined us as our newest tutor on several of our HCA courses.
Paul Sheldon gave up being a GP in Idle, Bradford to found the Primary Care Training Centre. For many years he was Clinical Director with responsibility for writing our courses. Paul died on 17 June 2020. He is much missed by all of us here.
Paul is a Diabetes Specialist Nurse and is a tutor on our Diabetes and Insulin courses.
Rebecca is our Clinical Director. She is a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, and teaches on many of our diabetes related courses.
Richard is the lead tutor on our Minor Illness and Injuries courses.
