FACT - Key Persons
Job Titles:
- Assistant Lead Instructor
Amy has previously worked with FACT as a Centre Instructor. She re-joins the team as an Assistant Lead Instructor.
Amy has spent time studying Outdoor Adventure Management since her gap-year at FACT and is looking forward to putting her studies into practice.
She enjoys the unique scenery in Tollesbury, especially the smell of the salty air. In the future she hopes to stay within the outdoor industry and help others to experience & appreciate nature.
Amy is qualified in First Aid. She holds her RYA Powerboat Level 2 Certificate and is a qualified instructor in High Ropes, Archery, Paddlesports & Sailing.

Following a year out with FACT in 2014-15, Anna has continued on and is now a Lead Instructor.
When not running sessions she enjoys unicycling, listening to music and catching up with friends.
Anna is an RYA senior instructor, also holding her safety boat award, two star in canoe & kayak and BCU Level 1 Coach. Onshore she is qualified as an Archery GB & ERCA High Ropes Instructor and a first aider.
Anna has joined us from south Derbyshire, and has previously worked at a variety of centres including teaching watersports in Greece as well as more locally in Essex.
Her hobbies include sailing, walking, hockey and reading.
Anna is a first point of contact for our volunteers and takes the lead on looking after our volunteer base.
She is a RYA Senior Instructor and holds Archery GB and ERCA High Ropes awards. She is also a BCU Level 1 Coach in Paddlesports and a First Aider.

Imy is also working towards instructor awards in Dinghy Sailing, High Ropes and Paddlesports.

Isaac joins our activity staff team from North Wiltshire, near Bristol.
He recently completed A-Levels in IT, Physics & English Language and was keen to ditch the books for boats. Isaac has been involved in sailing on the Norfolk Broads Pathfinder Cruise for many years and some friends there suggested FACT as a great place to sail all year round.
When he's not sailing, Isaac also enjoys free climbing and water polo, as well as movies and building computers.
Isaac holds instructor awards in Archery, Paddlesports, High Ropes and RYA Dinghy Sailing and is First Aid trained.

Josh has joined us to focus on TSL services and maintenance across the whole site.
Josh has been involved with FACT for many years as a volunteer - since he was a teenager. He has enjoyed boats and being out on the water for most of his life so is looking forward to spending time around the saltmarsh everyday.
He enjoys practical tasks and being creative - whether with a musical instrument or a selection of timber and nails.

Katie has previously worked at FA as a Centre Instructor. She now re-joins the team as an Assistant Lead Instructor.
Katie has recently graduated with a degree in history following three years studying in Norwich. She enjoys kayaking, surfing and reading and has previously been a volunteer with FACT.
She holds instuctor awards in BCU Paddlesports, ERCA High Ropes, Archery GB, RYA Dinghy Instructor and also holds an RYA Powerboat Level 2 award, BCU 2* kayaking. Katie is also qualified in First Aid.
Lauren is often the first person you'll speak to when you phone in or walk into the office.
Lauren works closely with Pauline on the bookings administration.
She has been involved with FACT for many years and considers FACT her extended family.
When she's not in the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends and family and chasing after her two young children.
Mark is passionate about food and loves providing all our guests with tasty grub
Mark has caught the sailing bug too, and enjoys taking his family afloat in their catamaran. He also enjoys windsurfing when he can, and playing a few tunes on his guitar.
He holds a Food Hygeine certificate and is First Aid trained.
Owen joined the team in 2021 from Northwest London, having spent time in the charity retail sector.
Owen was looking for a new challenge and a way to get out sailing so he joined the team at FACT.
He is qualified in First Aid, Powerboat Level 2 and is an Archery GB & Paddlesport Instructor. Owen is working towards his Dinghy Instructor.
In his spare time, Owen enjoys football.
Pauline joins the FACT team having worked in administration with NHS cancer services and before that enjoyed varied work in church leadership.
She enjoys visiting coffee shops, country rambling and participating in quiz teams. Pauline is loving the ever changing environment of the estuary here in Tollesbury.
Pippa works with Andrew in the office.
Pippa first joined us as summer staff in 2003 and has done a gap year and worked as a lead instructor. She now works alongside Andrew in the office.
When not in the office she enjoys sailing, baking and being outside.
Sarah is looking forward to the funding challenge her role brings. She loves the view from her office window and listening to the excited & nervous voices of the children as they get off the bus and see Trinity for the first time.
Sarah has a background in hospitality marketing and lives nearby with her husband and 2 children who attend Tollesbury School. She is hoping to learn more about sailing in due course and encourage her family out onto the water.
