Ajay Agarwal joined Bain Capital in 2003. He is a Partner and leads the Bay Area offices for the Ventures team. Ajay is focused on early-stage application software and SaaS investing. His passion is working with early-stage founders on team-building, culture, iteration of product market fit, and scaling the early go-to-market operations. Ajay's primary investment themes include commerce enablement, the revolution of the sales and marketing functions, and the use of big data and machine learning to transform business applications. In 2012 and 2013, Ajay was named to the Forbes Midas List of Top 100 Venture Capital Investors.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ajay was head of sales and marketing at Trilogy, where he grew annual revenues to $300 million. Previously, he was a consultant with the Los Angeles office of McKinsey & Company.

Ajay has an MBA from Harvard Business School and has a BS in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He also holds a patent for the "Method and Apparatus of Configuration Solutions."

Mr. Akole joined Bain Capital Tech Opportunities in 2022 as an Analyst. Prior to joining Bain Capital, he spent time at Evercore and Bregal Sagemount, while also launching a venture-backed software business in the waste management industry.
Alexandra Assante joined Bain Capital in 2008. She is a Vice President on the Corporate team, responsible for the corporate treasury function.

Alon Avner joined Bain Capital in 2006. He is a Senior Advisor and Chair of Europe Special Situations. Previously, he was the Head of Credit in Europe. Earlier in his career with Bain Capital, Alon was responsible for Credit's European telecom and media investments.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, he was a Manager at Bain & Company. He also held operations and marketing roles at Comverse Technology and Creo/Scitex.

Anna Alessandria joined Bain Capital in 2022. She is a Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Head of Compensation and Benefits for Bain Capital globally.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Anna was a Senior Director in the Global Financial Services (GFS) practice of Willis Towers Watson (WTW). In this role, she led the asset management vertical within GFS working to expand WTW's advisory offerings to asset management and other financial services firms. She led complex client engagements related to total rewards, pay transparency, investment professional, and executive compensation. Prior to WTW, Anna was with MFS Investment Management where she most recently was the Vice President of Total Rewards.

Carlos Argilagos joined Bain Capital in 2010. He is a Director on the Public Equity team responsible for reporting, performance analysis, and risk management.

Chris Gordon joined Bain Capital in 1997. He is a Partner, Co-Head of Global Private Equity, Co-Head of North America Private Equity, and Global Head of Healthcare. Since joining the firm, Chris has actively served on the Board of Directors for a wide spectrum of prominent healthcare companies in which Bain Capital has made investments including HCA, Quintiles Transnational (now IQVIA), Grupo Notre Dame Intermedica, Air Medical Group Holdings, Acadia, Beacon Health Options, Physio Control, QuVa Pharmaceuticals, Waystar, Aveanna, Surgery Partners, Stada GMBH, US Renal Care, and Cerevel Therapeutics.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, he was a consultant at Bain & Company. Chris is a founding Director of the Healthcare Private Equity Association and is engaged with numerous nonprofit organizations. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Cristina Asenjo joined Bain Capital in 2022. She is a Vice President and member of the Portfolio Team of our Special Situations business.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Cristina worked as an Investment Director at Azora Capital, a Development Manager at Aquila Capital, and as an entrepreneur RE consultant.

Cristina received an MS in engineering from ICAI at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid. She also holds a DIA from the Architectural Association in London.
Darren Abrahamson joined Bain Capital in 2005. He is a Partner on the Tech Opportunities team and leads investments in the application software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, financial technology, and healthcare IT sectors. Prior to his current role, Darren was a leader of the Technology vertical as a member of our North America Private Equity team. He has played a leading role in the firm's recruiting and training efforts and has worked in our Boston and London offices.

Eric Anderson joined Bain Capital in 2017. He is a Partner in the Portfolio Group and a member of the North America Private Equity team.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Eric held a number of leadership roles at Domino's Pizza, most recently as Executive Vice President of International Operations. During his tenure with Domino's, he provided leadership for most of the brand's international markets, international business strategy, international supply chain, and global food safety. Before joining Domino's, Eric was a leader in Bain & Company's turnaround business, Bain Corporate Renewal Group, and was involved in holistic business transformations across a number of industries. He has also held commercial leadership roles in the information security and building products industries.
