Ballet Black is a professional ballet company for international dancers of black and Asian descent. We aim to bring ballet to a more culturally diverse audience by celebrating black and Asian dancers in ballet. We perform and offer community driven classes for dancers and students, young and old... The Ballet Black dance studio is available for hire on an occasional basis. Our specifications are listed below. The studio has a huge ceiling height and a brand new, fully sprung Harlequin Allegro dance floor. It is suitable for a variety classes, workshops and rehearsals. The studio also benefits from underfloor heating. Please note that the studio is mainly available on Fridays, and during company touring dates. Our schedule changes from week to week so it is always worth enquiring about one off weekday bookings. We also hire out the studio for open auditions & photography.
