ADAM WOOLF - Founder

After an extensive background in service businesses, including ten years in the catering sector running a number of well known London clubs and bars, Adam joined the IT industry in 1998 and went on to found Lifeline IT in 2001. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Company. Adam's commercial and management experience and his total attention to customer service bring much to supporting the needs of our clients. Over the last twelve years, Adam has built up extensive knowledge of software licensing and comprehensive hardware experience, particularly complex server systems.

CHARLOTTE JEYARATNAM

Job Titles:
  • Head of Operations
As Head of Operations, Charlotte manages all project planning and oversees administration and procurement. She is the main liaison between the engineers and clients, ensuring technical work can be explained in easy-to-understand terms. Charlotte has been with Lifeline IT for five years and since joining the team she has gained her ITIL Certification in IT Service Management and PRINCE2 Practitioner in Project Management. Originally from a creative background, prior to working at Lifeline IT Charlotte created in-store window displays for high street retailers, and also designed and sold her own clothes. She has strong organisational skills and is a lover of spreadsheets and team working.

Daniel Mitchell - Founder

Originally working in accountancy practices, Daniel began his involvement in IT while working with specialist accounting software in 1993. He founded Dam IT Consultants in 1996 and merged with Lifeline IT in 2002. Daniel focuses on new business, project management and consultancy. This involves acquiring in-depth knowledge of clients' operations and for several he works with them on an ongoing basis to develop and implement new systems, software and workflows. Getting to know his clients' businesses really well is a key part of the process. Daniel has a special interest in Global Cyber Security and is a member of the Industrial Liaison Group for the faculty of computing at London Metropolitan University. He writes and speaks on I.T. and I.T. security, including as resident ‘IT expert' for smallbusiness.co.uk.

JEREMY FRANCIS

With more than 30 years' experience in residential and commercial property development, Jeremy is well-respected in the industry. For many years he has provided advice on an informal basis to Lifeline IT. In December 2006, the arrangement was formalised with Jeremy joining us as a Non-Executive Director. His input is focused on financial and planning matters, as well as sharing knowledge of the property sector.

KRISHNA TAILOR

As our business has grown, so has the demand for more sophisticated financial management and reporting. Krishna joined us in 2012 having worked in both large and small businesses. She is responsible for client and supplier liaison on account matters, as well as financial planning for the business as a whole, working closely with our external accountants. Krishna is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA).

NAVDEEP SINGH BATTH - CTO

With two decades' experience in IT support, including a third-line role for Microsoft, Navdeep joined the team at the end of 2011 as an IT engineer. He has progressed rapidly since then: from an engineering consultant on some of our larger and more complex client requirements, to his current role as Technical Director (from 2022). Navdeep now leads our technical strategy. He keeps us at the forefront of innovation, working closely with clients as well as our software and hardware partners.

NEIL LAYTON

  • a Senior Field Engineer
Neil joined Lifeline IT as a senior field engineer in 2018. Over the last two years he has played a critical role in building and leading our remote support function and a key part of opening our office in Peterborough during 2022. As Head of Engineering, Neil now leads our team of engineers, focussing on growing their skills and delivering high quality service to our clients.

PATRICIA ALFORD-BURNETT

Pat has an outstanding track record in iconic multi-channel retail brands, including as Managing Director of The White Company until 2012 and as CEO for ILLUM, Jaeger & Viyella. In November 2016 she was appointed to our board as a non-executive director. Over the previous year, she worked very closely as an advisor to the directors and leadership team. Our relationship with Pat has expanded progressively and we are delighted to have formalised it with her appointment. Pat has been helping to develop the services Lifeline IT offers to the retail sector. More broadly, she has been advising on the structure of the business and people development.
