Clod Ensemble is a performance company founded in 1995 by Suzy Willson (Director/Choreographer) and Paul Clark (Composer)... Clod Ensemble is an award-winning performance company led by Suzy Willson and Paul Clark. Through music, movement and performance, we connect people to themselves, to each other, to their communities and to their environment. We create opportunities for people to move, create, listen and imagine - cross-pollinating ideas and catalysing change... Clod Ensemble collaborates with people who have different reference points, lived experiences, skills and crafts. Our work attempts to create conditions for creativity and respectful collaboration. This is often done by questioning structures, systems and institutions rooted in histories of compartmentalisation, binary thinking or colonisation. We work with people to effect change, endeavouring to break, move and shift those boundaries which do not serve people well.
