Claire MacGillivray

Claire spent her childhood growing up and working on an arable farm in Cambridgeshire. After a gap year farming in New Zealand, Claire went to study at Writtle College, graduating with a degree in Agriculture with specialisms in business management and marketing. Following stints at Carter Jonas Farms Department and European Oat Millers, Claire joined the marketing team at Sheikh Mohammed's breeding operation; Darley in Newmarket honing her event management skills before taking a career break to raise 3 young children. Claire has been involved with Redfox since the start but is now an integral part of the team, overseeing the marketing, accounts and daily running of the business - with a keen knowledge of the sector and its people. Outside of the office Claire loves to travel and wild swim, is pretty handy at tennis and loves to watch rugby. With Max she shares the two office dogs, Magnus and Storm.

Ian Reed

Born into a fruit growing family, Ian graduated from the University of Greenwich/Hadlow College with a degree in Commercial Horticulture. Spending a few years working in the New Zealand fruit industry, he returned to England to find fame and fortune as a Fruit Adviser. An organic produce enthusiast, Ian joined Tesco as a Technical Manager in fresh produce. Despite his "fruity" background Ian rose to the challenge of managing a wide range of veg and salad categories. A job he did so well he became the Category Technical Manager for Organic produce. A decade later Ian joined Wight Salads Group as Technical Director, mastering the tricky job of keeping legions of retailers happy whilst the company went through an extended period of change.

Max MacGillivray

Max founded Redfox in 2002 with the sole aim of specialising in mid-management to board level recruitment for the Fresh Produce, Agri-Business and Food Retail sectors. A graduate of Harper Adams, Max's background includes working as a trader in the grain sector and time at the National Farmers Union.
